Love an old school genuine diner! I got a chicken schnitzel to go with fries and wow it was good! Atmosphere is truly cool without being hipster, I was told it has been a resto in that location for 70 years, present ownership 16 years. Definitely going to check them out for breakfast.

I live by this place and always wanted to try it. It’s divey in a good way. If you want to try it and go in and don’t like it, that’s on you. Everything was better than I expected - nothing was bad. It’s four stars and that’s what it’s trying to be.

This is a fabulous diner. We go for breakfast regularly with friends. The food is DELICIOUS. I am partial to the pancakes, and any of the egg dishes. Service is prompt and very friendly.

I visited this diner when visiting my brother in Toronto. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back another 3 times during my 5 day stay. The food was full of flavour and reliable. The staff were friendly, welcoming and humorous. I’ll definitely go back the next time I visit my brother.

Pancakes had clumps of the white batter and also uncooked in the middle, just almost raw dough.Very unappetizing, server was drunk at noon.Diner breakfast, old refried potatoes, eggs benedict was cooked till egg yolk was hard. The food made me and my partner sick.

Tasty, inexpensive breakfast! Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns... thinking about it makes me wish I was nearby to visit again! Nothing crazy but absolutely hits all the breakfast basics. We ate outside and the hornets were highly invested in our jam, but can't blame the restaurant for that. They had out traps but the food was simply way more appealing!

Worst lunch experience I had in years, the food is terrible, the booth seats was broken and the bathroom in the basement is so filthy!!! There were flies and spider webs everywhere. The server was so nice but definitely never going back.

Friendly people doing what we all do - going about our lives doing the best we can - and they do their best well. Good food served hot & coffee refilled quickly. Good value. No fuss.

Betty served us and was great. Love this place! We popped down for breakfast from Richmond Hill. Great choice!

A good place to stop in for some classic diner food. The place is a little run down, and their menu is a outdated - we tried to order the challah French toast and the server let us know that they haven’t made it since the pandemic. What they call rye bread I would argue is more of an artisan white bread, but it was good bread either way.All that being said, the food was good and served hot, and a reasonable price.

Parking: Free street parking on Brooklyn one block over.

Really nice little place in my beloved east end. Creative spins on classic breakfast (Eggs Beatrice!!), and friendly, laid back atmosphere. We sat in the shaded corner of the patio and loved it. If you're veg like me - get the Eggs Beatrice!! (Yes I said it twice ?)

3.5 stars for a local diner. This place looks like it's been in the neighborhood for a long time. Lots of local diners, decor needs a little update. A good place for quick breakfast or brunch. Service was good, but the food was just ok. My eggs benni were overcooked sitting on the smoked salmon actually cooked the salmon a bit. No complaints, support local restaurants.
