I had the $7 chicken and pop special today, with jerk chicken and it was really delicious! Reminded me of my old friend who’d cook me delicious carribean dishes in her home. I feel like I’ll have this every week or every two weeks as long as I work in the area? perfect for students on a budget!
Had the stew chicken. The gravy blended perfectly with the rice&beans. The portion of this medium plate is smaller than I thought, but still enough as a lunch. Also, it is prepared quite fast.Second round: small BBQ chicken this time. Still has it as a 5-star.
We stopped here today and tried the jerk chicken sandwich. The sauce was thick and spicy, the chicken was juicy, and you could tell it was homemade. Next time I would like to try one of their homemade juices.
