Otto’s Berlin Döner is a delicious spot serving up generous portions in a bright, lively space. The service is friendly, and the food is seriously tasty—just make sure to grab some napkins, because things can get messy fast. A solid go-to in Kensington Market.
As a German I can say. The most authentic Döner experience in Canada so far. I gave this place another try after some months and the new changes they apparently made in the way of filling the Döner are game changing, paired with some lovely German music! Finally the focus seems to be on the taste and not only in the presentation ( they used to put way to much lettuce and drizzles on top which made it a messy and unauthentic experience). . Thank you, I will be back.
I want to like this place and I've given it a couple chances, but it's not authentic Berlin. My wife is from Berlin. I've been many times. The bread on the Döner is not right and the veggies not as good as any in Berlin. I was excited for currywurst, but it should be lighty breaded and deep fried. The curry sauce is good. Also their bier ist von Munich. It's hard to get Berlin bier in Kanada, but there are some brewery here making Berlin weiss. They never...
