I love supporting small businesses and I used to come here frequently over the last few years. The food tastes amazing but I can no longer justify the price. It was always pricey but the sandwiches have gotten significantly smaller. Charging $19 for these two items is outrageous.
(19$ being the price BEFORE TAX as I made this purchase during the tax holiday)
I will not be returning.
I ordered dark rye, did I get the wrong loaf? The food is decent here and the staff is friendly, but I keep getting the wrong order.

Today I spent $15 on a pastry, coffee, and a croissant. I must say I was hugely disappointed by the taste and quality. The products tasted old or refrigerated too long. I will not return.
Top tier seeded sourdough loaf.

Chef Thuet’s artisanal sourdough can’t be beat. Staff are very friendly. Gotta come back for their chicken brie sandwich!

Great music. Food was awesome. The chicken and Brie was a great option. We ate in and had a nice time. Highly recommend that you buy a sourdough loaf. Wow. That bread was so good for dinner and breakfast the next day. Perfection. Next time, I am definitely eating some croissant or donuts!!!!!
Parking: Found a spot out front with no issues.

I really want to give this place a good review BC I want to uplift independent small bakeries in my community....
But....
I've been here several times in the last 2 years and occasionally I'd get a good baked product but for the most part I always end up getting refrigerated stale bakery items.
Got a chocolate tart and it tasted like the fridge it had been sitting in for at least a week. Visually it was apparent the tart had sat for who knows how long with a film on top. The croissants have always been cold and obviously stale refrigerated.
Coffee and drinks are subpar.
Service is very slow even when I'm the only customer.
Like just make less products and bake them fresh daily. It's so so simple. Look at your customer sales and cost your food according to what you regularly sell and bake it fresh that morning. Especially when you open at 0900, you have 4 hrs in the morning at least to do it as most other bakeries do.

Coffee tasted like cleaner and had a giant black hair in it. Not sure what they are trying to serve up.

A cozy bakery to stop in for a nicely brewed coffee and a baked treat. The sourdough breads are worth the 1 hour drive for me and get a few to freeze and grab some gourmet items. They will slice it if called ahead. Staff always friendly

My favourite bakery. Fantastic owners. Everything is good. The croissants, lemon meringue, and apricot tarts are the best in town. Coffee is just right. Wake up early and go!!
