Absolutely love the food! One if the most memorable places I've eaten downtown
Loved everything we ordered - So Fly! Rice, sticky wings and eggplant claypot. Can’t wait to try out more of the menu.
For takeout, we got the So Fly! Rice, made with fried soft shell crab, ikura, tobiko, egg, broccoli stems, iceberg lettuce, pickled chilis, and scallions nuoc cham. It sounds like a lot of ingredients, but they go perfectly together, both in terms of flavour and texture. Don’t be deceived by the small takeout container, they pack a generous portion in there! And second, we got the Grill Platter, which came with lemongrass chicken, pork shoulder, luc lac beef short ribs, lettuce, pickled carrots and daikon, along with a sweet chilli sauce, and served atop broken white rice. It’s a bit pricey for the amount they give you, especially since they only give two pieces of lettuce for the wrap!, but still a great dish to order if you want a diversity in meats.Looking forward to trying the rest at the restaurant when indoor dining is open again!
Great food in a unique setting, felt like an American soldier in Vietnam being hosted by some kind family in their living room. The restaurant is quite cozy, interior is eclectic and service is very attentive. Bahn mi and cream curry were delicious, will be back to Pinky's if we are allowed to cross the border!
The crab banh Mi was delicious!! However, it’s pretty pricey. It’s a nice treat but I wouldn’t order it regularly because of the price.
Food here is delicious, we had the mango papaya salad with the grilled octopus and pho beef dip sandwich. The sandwich was smaller than what I expected but was delicious nonetheless!
Being Vietnamese, it was so amazing to experience traditional foods with a modern twist. The outside of the restaurant was interesting since it does look like a house and not a restaurant but the inside was super cute! Not vietnamese inspired decor but it had a nice ambiance and I enjoyed the old school R&B hip-hop they were playing. The menu is small, consisted of maybe 10 items total but everything we got was delicious! We started off with Tiger's Milk Ceviche served with taro chips. This was so good and can be shared up to 3 people as a small appetizer. Next, we got the Marrow Beef to my surprise, was very different but so good as well! Imagine a sushi roll but instead of rice, there was brisket wrapped around a bunch of chopped up greens with the bone marrow infused with pho broth as sauce. We also got the Lucky Strip which was a cut up striploin with pho butter on a sizzling plate and again, the flavours were so lovely, it tasted like an elevated steak dish with a Vietnamese influence. Lastly, we got the Pho Beef Dip which was essentially pho in sandwich form and pho broth to dip. The brisket was so tender, it literally melted in my mouth. Out of all these dishes, the Lucky Strip or Pho Beef Dip was my favourite. We also got drinks but to be honest, you need to sip on these fast since they put a lot of ice so the drink ends up being watery if you take your time with it. Not that I wanted my drink to be stronger however, I didn't taste much alcohol in my drinks, instead it tasted like watered down flavoured water. The Mango Popper to my surprise was very spicy, which I loved! But the alcohol content and ice concentration was disappointing.Other than that, I had a really good time eating here but would probably come back to try the other things I didn't get to try!
It was around this time last year I was in Vietnam eating bahn mi's on the daily and WOW...blown away by the lemongrass chicken bahn mi. It was incredibly flavourful and I will be thinking about this sandwich for days. Definitely coming back to try some other things on the menu. My friends and I also purchased the rice to share which was quite nice as well. Highly recommend!
the coconut milk ceviche and the loco foco is usually what i go for! everything else seems to be a bit salty from what my friends and i think. but the aesthetic is super cute inside. (chairs can definitely be more comfortable though.)
Due to COVID, they can only accommodate 4 parties of 4 or less, or else you will need to call to make a reservation to ensure you have a table.Came here on a Tuesday night, ordered the ceviche, so fly fried rice and chicken leg platter. We waited over 35mins for the server to come to us to tell us that there was a mix up with our order and that our food was going to be delayed. When we finally got our food, it was an hour since we have ordered. It was very disappointing because so many of my friend's have recommended this place and we came on an empty stomach hoping to try a bunch of dishes. The food is delicious, ceviche was fresh, the tiger's milk had a lot of flavor to it. So fly rice was sauteed and seasoned well, would recommend ordering that. The chicken platter had a good marinate on the chicken and it was very moist and juicy on the inside, it paired well with the pickled carrots and lettuce wrap with the sauce.Would of visited again if they we didn't have to wait an hour for food and 60% of that time, we were just looking around, at each other; hungry waiting for food to arrive. Experience was bad but food was good.

Visited here a while back. Food was a bit salty to my taste but the presentation was great. Friendly service and tasty drinks :)
Great food, amazing drinks, great vibe, great service. Loved my experience here... i'll def be back. 100% recommend!
Their food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a massive order on Uber Eats one night and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very tasty. We got the chicken platter which was a solid 10/10. I recommend delivery from Pinky Ca one.
Great food in a very unique setting. The restaurant is quite cozy but service is very attentive. Food was phenomenal.. one of the best I have tried. Drinks are equally as good. I especially enjoyed the bone marrow. Would come back and bring some friends here for some good food.
a cozy and nice place. the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable with large portions...
