Utter Lack of Basic Human Courtesy and Professionalism at Pizza Pizza Yesterday.
TLDR; egregious price point, staff unnecessarily causing a scene, unable to deescalate, lack of courtesy, irrelevant chatting of personal affairs, lack of professionalism.
I had purchased one slice of pizza prior the Laufey A Matter of Time concert on Monday October 20, and was “aided” (if it is even possible to say this) by a woman around her 20s with dark hair, along with another woman beside her (I believe blonde hair). This was at 18:40 PM. $9 for a pizza slice was disappointing enough, but I let go of the price point since the arena is a popular attraction in Toronto, after all.
Following my payment for the pizza slice, the printer printed my receipt, so I took the receipt. I had assumed it was fine to do so, since the printer faced me, and since I’ve done it several times before with no issue arising. In response, the woman at the desk said, “excuse me, that’s really rude of you. Don’t do that again.” I felt confused and humiliated, as I’ve been doing this a lot for many other franchise restaurants, and never had any other staff had a problem with this. People around me were staring at the interaction, after the staff member had said that.
I feel that she could’ve been a lot kinder to me; a brief explanation would’ve sufficed for me to learn, but instead, she snapped at me with a heavy look of disdain. I also believe that there was a misconduct of the situation, as she could have attempted to deescalate the situation, though no attempts were made.
This brings me to HEAVILY question Pizza Pizza for their hiring process and criteria. Did that staff member truly fit your model staff?
Obviously, I don’t expect you to be cheery all the time; I get it, service is hard, but I’d appreciate some basic human courtesy. I don’t know if it was since I appeared young, and thus potentially easy to bully, but that interaction truly affected my overall concert experience as well.
Right after I got my pizza, the two women resumed chatting about random personal affairs.
Overall, this was quite the negative experience, and there was an apparent lack of professionalism exhibited by Pizza Pizza staff.
Please note that this does reflect on the overall brand, and my impression of Pizza Pizza.
Needless to say, I do not believe I will order with this company for some time after this event, and especially not the location in Scotiabank Arena.

I bought a slice of pizza and the pizza was cold like overnight pizza. Don't buy pizza at this store. It doesn't worth your money.
I had ordered a delivery. After 90 minutes it hadn't been delivered, and when I called, they claimed that they had tried to call me. I had no missed calls. So then the customer service bod says they will deliver a fresh pizza as soon as possible. It came within 30 minutes, and was clearly the same pizza they had failed to deliver in the first place. Cold, congealed, and with a really weird taste. Had to bin the whole thing. What a waste of money. And time. AVOID
Not a proper location. Should be listed a such.

Pizza was garbage. Don’t order here.
Located INSIDE Scotiabank Area, this Pizza Pizza is only open during events. Closest Pizza Pizza for service is the Union Station Food Court, which was also lacking in quality. This is located at the 100s, Section 120 near the Union Station entrance.During the events, concessions are expensive and the cheapest options would be Pizza Pizza or Tim Hortons. Near the Union Station entrance, there is a Pizza Pizza that sells $7.50 per slice of classic slices and premium slices at $8.75. The Pizza Pizza over by the section entrance has specialty slices at $8.75 with different flavors as well. For reference, some other units sell burgers and fries combos that come up to $19.00 before tax; so pizza is probably the cheapest option. The service was pretty standard with staff ready to dish out pre-cooked pizza onto their packaging. Do note, they are a cashless venue and prefer MasterCard. Also note, this entrance near the Tim Hortons in this section is open after the end of the event for exit purposes.

Used many times on our visit here. Quick service, good product and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend you give it a try.
