I had dinner here with a friend the other night and it was terrific. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff is super friendly and attentive. I spend a couple of months a year in Italy so am pretty picky about my pastas, but the Shitake Mushroom Chitarra passed the test:) It was flavourful and delicious and, on Wednesdays, they have $15 off a bottle of wine which is a bonus. I'll definitely be back.

Pizza was charred black on most parts and we had to eat charcoal. Ordered 18” and they make the cornicione so wide that it becomes 12” .. such a scam. Shame on them you pay for a 16” but you get eventually 12”. Despite my previous review, I'd say defina's pizzas are the best in town.
Got the wild mushroom and margheria - both unfortunately utterly forgettable. Maybe because we had it a bit cold. Also - they didn't have any bags to put the pizza boxes in which was a bit short sighted because a lot of people take these pizzas down to a high park - so bags would be helpful so we have our hands free!

Very nice meal. Came here on a weekend and sat outside on the patio. Food was delicious. Was pleasantly impressed with the rapini appetizer.

Great pizza, but while the table next to us got chili flakes, we didn’t receive any. Had to wait an hour for 1 pizza. The tables are small and super close together. Service is slow, and the minimum tip they ask for is 20%, not worth more than 5%.
A half pint is 2 dollars cheaper than a pint (10vs8). This feels a bit like a ripoff. Not going back here.

Had been there for dinner with family based on the reviews and it was way more than what we expected, we ordered Grilled octopus and calamari which was so well balanced and perfectly cooked, the tuna ceviche was so fresh light and well seasoned, loved the red hot chili pepper pizza, all dishes were excellent but our most favorite was the Squid ink linguine, the pasta sauce was something we have never had before, it was subtle succulent with burst of flavors. All the seafood was super fresh which is most important. Also enjoyed some oh so refreshing spicy strawberry margaritas. We eneded on a high note with the delicious dessert platter which had tiramisu, cream Brule and flour less chocolate tart. All in all it was a wonderful experience all thanks to the great food, service and ambience. Will definitely visit again very soon.
