Best burgers I’ve ever had! And Mo the owner is amazing. We’re devastated with the temporary closures- it’s been a while, does anybody have any updates on when they’re opening their downtown location?

We’ll all miss Mo. It was a great establishment. It was nice to go out locally with good service and good prices. Like always nothing lasts forever. It’s getting ridiculous to go out now even for a beer this was the last kick of the can. I understand they’ll be relocating and wish them the best.

The food never disappointed. I will truly miss the exceptional service and hospitality provided by Mo. His ability to efficiently handle our group of 16 people single-handedly with such dedication and professionalism is truly remarkable (we weren’t an easy bunch). “He was so personable” said my wife!

Hopefully these guys come back soon…!

This was the absolute best burger in the city and they closed down, I am heartbroken as are others who know this gem. Please tell me you are reopening elsewhere???

Good news! Dec 2024 update: they’re only temporarily closed and reopening soon downtown! And can find their stuff at Mrs. Robinson in the meantime. Probably most flavourful burger and grilled meat I’ve had in Toronto — and I’m a burger/ bbq junky — and just generally really lovely people with incredible food. Top combination of rich flavour while also being something you haven't tried before (if you're unfamiliar with SA food, as I was). Very happy to see they’re around and coming back. The fact I went out of my way to get to the bottom of this tells you how good it was. Posting this for anyone else who wasn’t sure what the situation was :)

Great food and wonderful customer service! The staff were very friendly and helpful with answering questions about the menu. Will definitely be going back.

Stopped by randomly for a burger based on the reviews and oh boy, it didn't disappoint. Delicious food, genuinely kind people, authentic atmosphere. Will definitely atop by again.
