It's almost like they don't want to take your money here. Difficult service at the front counter. If you don't want to serve folks fries then figure it out

It took more than 20 (26 to be precise) minutes for them to make a single chicken breast.
Could have went to church’s got the same thing and ate it in less time.
Also the restaurant was near empty.

Caution ⚠️ don’t eat here. Popeyes is in a lawsuit for buying their meat from a Residents garage in Hamilton. Look it up if you don’t believe me. They were buying illegal chicken from some guy garage out in Hamilton. And that’s just the chicken, what was the shrimp? 🤷‍♂️🤢 meanwhile they’ve opened their location again, but haven’t released any explanation for poisoning all of us. Popeyes should be shut down for good. What they did was illegal. And keep in mind that they were claiming it was halal, which could have been a lie too, and where was the resident bleeding out the chickens, imagine a pool of blood in his backyard. Gross 🤮

***FOOD SPOILED ALERT***
This is the first time ever I leave a review for any type of restaurant, I had bad experience before but not to the point I almost vomit because the food spoiled so badly. It makes myself wondering, how long has that piece of chicken been there to make it taste like fish that’s been dead for days (if not weeks). And I tell you it was not just the taste, you can smell it, my partner didn’t eat it and he can tell there’s a very strange smell (you don’t even need to bring it closer to your nose to smell it, yuck…); absolutely horrifying. I love Popeyes, and never wasted any food, I really have to spit out the food after chewing it, throw the whole piece. Even after that, the taste and smell haunted me for hours.
I don’t know what’s exactly wrong with the chicken and the smell today but I know it’s definitely spoiled badly, I ordered some chicken sandwich from this same location a few times before a d it was fine, but this is my first time trying the chicken piece and though I already took some Pepto Bismol, I hope I will not have any food poisoning after this. I hope there will be some food quality inspection to be conducted at this place, maybe I was unlucky to have that piece of spoiled chicken, but man, one is too many to imagine what’s the back story behind all those chicken. I attached a picture of the piece, you can’t smell it through the picture obviously but I really not wish for anybody to smell it ever, the most disturbing smell of spoiled food I have ever experienced in my entire life.
