Everything is a must try on the menu and it makes me wanting to go back every day! The Cappellacci are my new favourite! During my dinner we also had 2 desserts, the Pizza that has been remade as a dessert is something amazing, and the caprese cake too, was the best I ever had, too bad i don’t have picture of them cause we ate them right away!

I recently visited this gem of a restaurant with friends, and we had an amazing experience. We tried the Ragu, Ribeye, Parmigiana, and their house-made Frutti di Mare – all absolutely delicious. We ended the meal with the Baba Misu and Caprese Cake, which were the perfect finishing touches. This has become my go-to spot for small business dining; the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They also have a wonderful wine selection that pairs beautifully with the dishes. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and the owner is incredibly friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return!

The service was great and the food was good. The pizza was tasty, the crust was thin and it had a good chew to it. Might return for the pizza and the rigatoni!

In Toronto for a week and can’t forget the dinner at Positano Restaurant I had the best seafood ravioli paired with a great red Italian wine suggested from Alessio the manager! He makes sure everything is perfect from the beginning to the desserts! Be back for sure for the authentic Italian food !

Nice northern Italian restaurant and nice menu. Also pleasant ambiance. Service was a bit spotty and slow - our waitress was nice, but she disappeared after we got menus - and we didn’t get our wine until after our appetizers arrived. Portions good but a bit underwhelming - had the seafood special, which was tasty but light on the seafood. My wife had pizza which was really tasty. Net -net 3 stars

I overall love the restaurant
The vibe is great and romantic. I wish they had more beef/chicken including pizza options. Drink options are limited.

We had the Pizza Margherita and Mushroom Risotto. The taste was decent, and the service was good as well. However, the place felt cramped.

We went for dinner and reservations are a must. I almost missed the place as I was walking by since it is fairly small. The restaurant is located on Mt. Pleasant street so parking is scarce but easily accessible by transit. It’s very cozy inside, the atmosphere is intimate and perfect for smaller parties. We ordered two apps which was the squid and the eggplant and both were very flavourful. The eggplant was a nice surprise with the cheese, the squid had a tasty smoked flavour. For mains we had the monkfish, braised beef, and pizza. Monkfish was a bit small but packed with flavour, the beef was tender and the sauce added to the flavour, I would’ve liked a bit more sauce though. Pizza was very authentic and standard. Service was great, they were very attentive. Wine pricing was a bit much but family owned and all so understandable. Overall great experience.

I visited Positano Restaurant with my friends on a Saturday evening.

The food was alright. I wish I liked it more but I found some dishes to be lacking flavour. I really liked the Polpo Scottato and the Costine di Manzo. I opted for the monkfish as my main, instead of the branzino which was a bad choice as it seems most people in the reviews say the branzino is amazing. On our next visit, maybe I’ll try the branzino instead.

Small but decent wine list. It’s wine, so no complaints there.

Service was good but not amazing. Wait staff were a lot more attentive when the restaurant was less busy but I understand when they got busier throughout the night.

Overall, pretty good. No complaints. It just came down to my own taste and preferences.
