I visited Positano Restaurant for the first time in April with my fiancée, and we were both so impressed! We stopped in for a toast and some appetizers, and everything—from the service to the food—was outstanding. The dishes were absolutely delicious and tasted authentically Italian. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, making it a perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Amazing food, ambience and amazing staff! Wonderful experience.. had one of the best Pastas till date, and amazing cocktails. Must visit place for a wonderful evening✨
This place is lovely. Went there for brunch and had the Fritte e Tartufo, Lo Scarpariello, and a delicious non alcoholic lavender cocktail. Both myself and my girlfriend agreed that the food was excellent, having been to many Italian places around town.
Food and service were both amazing!
Excellent brunch spot -- had the smoked salmon croissant, Nutella fried dough and bruschetta which were all perfection, chef's kiss...and service with a smile! Will be back, one of the best brunch spots I've been to in a while given the quality, atmosphere, etc.
As a New Yorker who has tried many great Italian restaurants in Manhattan, I feel like this was one of the best Italian food I have had within the past 4-5 years. Our family agreed unanimously that this place was better than the Michelin rated restaurant we tried a few months ago. We especially liked the sea bass with octopus and shrimp, as well as the babamisu for the dessert. The host and the servers were friendly and classy. Strongly recommend to real foodies who enjoy unpretentious gem
A cozy quiet restaurant located in Eglington that suits a casual date or a dinner with friends. The place is not big, it fits a few tables but more than enough to enjoy a pleasant meal.
The menu doesn’t offer a large variety of options, but gives you enough idea to know how this restaurant looks like. The ingredients are fresh and the plates are cooked at the moment, which is always what makes the difference from other restaurants.
I tried the Pepe pizza to start, and the doygh was greatly achieved and tasted very good. It wasn’t oily but juicy at the same time. I missed a pinch of salt but overall I enjoyed it.
I continued with the Paccheri al Ragu, a typical italian dish where you can tell if the chef applies some love on the plate. In this case, the recipe tasted good, but it wasn’t extraordinary. Same happened with the risotto, the recipe was correct and all ingredients were mixed into a single plate. However, something was missing on those two plates.
Ribeye was also on the table and it was actually very tasty and savory. Accompanied with some truffle slices, pesto sauce and a side of potatoes made the whole plate an excellent combination for the taste buds. The Ragu with mashed potato, however, was dry and lacked of flavor. Same thing that happened with the pasta.
As a dessert, I had to try E la Pizza Margherita! A funny presentation where they serve it in a pizza box simulating one slice of pizza. This a very risky dessert, because it is not for everybody. It is not a full sweet dessert, it is salty with tomato. But I have to admit I enjoyed it. The more you tried it, the better it tasted. Congratulations on this approach.
Tu summarize, it is a good restaurant to come and enjoy a casual Italian meal if you don’t come with high expectations. The prices here are average, and nothing is extremely expensive.
A cozy Italian restaurant that serves up delicious food.
Very welcoming quiet but cozy place to sit down.
Unique experience!

Loved our brunch experience at Positanos! Really fresh food, wonderful service. Will def go again
Food was bland and portion was small for the price. Service was good, but won’t return for the underwhelming experience.

Came here for Valentine's Day, fixed price menu of five courses. Excellent service, food came out on time and waiters checked on us frequently. Five courses was maybe too much for one person and I look forward to coming back for a la carte menu. Ambiance: Nice for intimate quiet dinner. Comfortable seating.
Food: Not strong flavors compared to other Italian food I've had. But liked the variety of dishes.
We had high expectations for our Valentine’s dinner at Positano, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. The food was cold, tasteless, and far from what we expected for the price of the pre-fixed menu. To top it off, the dessert was equally disappointing—nothing special and certainly not worth the cost.
Service was okay, but we went there for the food, and it simply didn’t deliver. Given the high price and underwhelming experience, we won’t be coming back.
I went there with family to celebrate a Birthday night on Jan 25, the restaurant was quaint and had a homey atmosphere that also made you feel transported to Italy. The gentleman who served us was very nice, had a great sense of humour and was very patient with us and the food was fantastic. I definitely want to come back with friends and I would absolutely recommend if you want an authentic Italian style.
