I’m here right now learning that in 27 days this place is being torn down to make room for condos. I am absolutely heartbroken - this place is a Toronto staple, and so important for the community and culture of University of Toronto and the city as a whole. I have been coming here for crash outs, for celebrations, and for everything in between. This place has been with me for all the highs and lows of my life and I am devastated to lose this part of me. This is a long-established, classic pub with a very large selection of draft beers.
The interior feels somewhat dated overall.
The bartender was quiet but very attentive and professional, providing calm and thoughtful service.
He paid close attention and made the experience feel comfortable, which I appreciated.
One issue I noticed was that the draft beer I ordered had a slightly off smell.

Very enjoyable. Odd that the waiter fellow (a student for sure) was not too attentive.

Will be coming back every term end with my kid to celebrate. Maybe we will.get a awesomer food assistant.
