When creating this review it asked which dishes would I recommend...
I would say absolutely nothing that is deep fried
I stopped by last night and ordered chicken fingers french fries onion rings chicken wings and mozzarella sticks
The price is what it is it was pub food at just before 11:00
However it was inedible
It honestly tasted like they hadn't changed their oil in the fryers in about 2 weeks
Been absolutely everything was overcooked my girlfriend chipped a tooth trying to eat a mozzarella stick and I cut my gums open
Flavor was good on the wings but that's about as big of a compliment I can give this place I used to come here to eat so much just a couple years ago and I will never go again
In retrospect I would have rather to have paid the convenience store a few blocks down $80 for two beef patties rather than have this restaurant drown my food in a deep fryer and pay me $80 try and eat what I paid hard earned money for

A solid neighbourhood pub that will have hearty food, great service and a front patio that is pet friendly. What more could you want?

Had a rather interesting evening here. First time. My friend and I sat down, I asked the server/bartender for a rag so I could wipe the (dirty) table down. She looked annoyed and didn't say anything. Threw the menus down lol If she didn't want to wipe the table, she could've said so instead of huffing and puffing. I would've wiped it myself. I did ask for a rag after all.

Ordered the poutine and the server/bartender apologized and told us that the kitchen was cutting the potatoes to order and that they had to change the oil as well. So it would take longer than expected and because of that, it would be on the house. I thanked her. Thought that was very kind.

In the end, the second server dropped my bill off and I noticed I got charged for the poutine. So I asked if she could see if the bartender/server was going to honour her offer. If not, I would pay for it.

The server/bartender said, "On the house? Oh, I never said that. I said you will be so excited for your poutine!" My friend and I exchanged looks.

I've been in the industry and I had never promised something only to have taken it back. She even argued with the second server about it...it just made things really awkward... as if her denying her "on the house" poutine wasn't awkward enough.

The second server apologized profusely for the bad attitude, which was unnecessary. She also kept telling me to not pay for the poutine. I said I wanted to because the bartender/server was clearly getting mad.

Then the server/bartender had the audacity to say, "OK, I can take it off the bill if you don't want to pay for it!"

Lady, you were the one who offered us the poutine on the house...

She saw my tip (I ended up tipping more to cover the poutine), and then she started to apologize and said I had misunderstood her. I simply told her I was over the whole experience and to stop.

Needless to say, won't be going back.

I’ve been here on various occasions but the last time I went was such a bad experience. I ordered Alfredo pasta and a poutine, which was overpriced and disgusting. Food was almost a two hour wait and the person serving me was very rude. Slow service and terrible food

It's a bit of a hike from History, but this is our favourite restaurant/pub in the area, so well worth it! Staff are great, one of the best Guinness pours in all of Toronto and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Been coming here for years. These new cooks know what they’re doing. The best fkin Sri Lankan Chicken curry I’ve ever had. Also the best pasta I’ve had on queen east. Never disappoints

I’ve been coming here for 6 years straight and the food, the service has been consistently great. One of my favourite dishes I’ve become obsessed with is a Greek salad with salmon. The salmon is cooked to perfection. Also, there wings are amazing! The best wings you’re gonna get in the east! I Highly recommend this place. Again the staff are amazing and the food is fantastic!
