Honestly, I found the food a little overhyped - maybe our expectations were just too high going in.
I had the tempura soup udon: the noodles were decent and the tempura was good. I did appreciate that they served the tempura separately so it didn’t get soggy. However, I found the broth a bit on the salty side. The mousse dessert was delicious. The karaage was pretty average, maybe a bit plain.

Good udon but it’s overpriced and not worth the 30 min wait. If you come with a party of 2 or more after 5:30pm you’ll probably have to wait 30-60min, and they don’t take reservations. They have space for 1 person parties though.

Met up with some friends who I travelled with in Japan, and honestly stepping in, seeing oshibori on the table, and the pared down menu that knows exactly what they're about... dinner was full of promise!

Great texture on the handmade udon, and the broth has such clarity of flavour that you won't get elsewhere. we had 6 different dishes and all of them tasted as advertised. there was a lot of restraint and focus, kitchen side. that was satisfying.
