Ordered the Kani Ankake Udon, which had a nice thick soup. We also tried the monkfish liver and beef tataki appetizers – both were good, though not particularly memorable. Overall it’s a pleasant experience.
The noodles are really delicious and chewy...but the karaage isn't really like that. I don't know if they were originally looking for this kind of taste, but there was so much of a bitter burnt taste that I couldn't eat a single piece. The tofu sushi is ordinary.
I got the ankake udon bowl and it was very very warm and the broth was comforting going down my stomach. I also liked the texture of the noodles. Service was okay there was some confusion and I had to pay my friends bill instead of my own. Also the entrance looks very elegant but in practice the heavy curtain blocks ur vision of people coming in and out and can lead to bumping into people.
