Was told waiting time is 30 mins. I waited for 2 hours. Tip is included in your bill, whether you like to pay or not.

Great dim sum but I wish they didn't force a 15% tip on you. Such a cheap practice

A staple for us for more than 25 years. It’s a timeless place my friends and I come to heal and enjoy good, fresh, tasty food.

I barely go to any other dimsum places ever since I started going here. Most places stop selling dimsum after 3PM but this place has it even at midnight. Really great food with short time wait and reasonably cheaper than most restaurants.Parking is kinda limited but I understand since it’s in downtown. Parking are available at Kensington Market FYI!

Quality has gone down over the years unfortunately. We got takeout and it’s not great.

It was okay but what I didn’t like was they charged for the tea that was put on the table when we entered. Had we of known that we’d be charged for it then we wouldn’t have had it… they also charge you for the tips in advance. The bean dumpling was falling apart. My boyfriend liked the fried rice, he said it was good.

Funny story, we were in front of the restaurant contemplating whether to go in or not, when two older women interjected and said “You don’t want to miss this place, it’s the best. We came all the way from Oregon to eat here.” The atmosphere is very cozy, the staff are very friendly, and the food is great. Long story short, it’s our new favourite spot! :)

My rating: 4.5/5. Great restaurant that I’ve been going to for a number of years now in Chinatown. The food is always good and reliable, the staff are friendly and everything comes out super quick. Usually quite packed in here but they turn over tables fast and it adds to the atmosphere. Overall one of my favourite places in Chinatown and always a good stop if you feel like good Dim Sum or general Chinese food.Vegetarian options: A number of good vegetarian options available, but it wouldn’t be my first choice of restaurant for a vegetarian specific meal.Kid-friendliness: Very kid and family friendly for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: There is one small step up to the door and a narrow entrance way, but most likely doable if you have someone to help push the wheelchair. Didn’t see any wheelchair specific seating but I’m sure you could move one of their chairs out of the way to make room.

First and possibly last visit to the new restaurant. Went to the old restaurant often enough that the staff knew us (vaguely). The food, as always was impeccable, the service, as always, perfunctory, however when the bill was presented the waitress punched in the amount on the debit card then went instantly to the tip option. There is a standard service charge of 15%. So whether this is a staff issue or a management issue I don't know. but this is an underhanded way to get extra tip revenue, which management often shares in, so I have some doubts. Too bad.Parking: Municipal garage nearby.
