I was craving a savoury pastry and got a pastel with jerk beef, it was really yummy, well balanced taste wise, and not oily unlike the other food booths in that court area. Definitely coming back!
The staff was amiable and patient with my indecisiveness with such a large selection on the menu. I was looking for an afternoon snack, and the Romeu e Julieta pastel was the perfect choice as it was sweet and savoury! Cooked to perfection with the right amount of crunch, the perfect balance for sweet and savoury fans. It is worth a visit for anyone interested in trying Brazilian Street Food. You are sure to find a solution to any craving!!!!!!
