Good service and a nice late night vibe but the food was a complete letdown. Everything we ordered was borderline inedible, with the white rice being the only safe option. It’s rare to strike out on every dish, but somehow they managed it. Really disappointing :(

I really wanted to like this place - the staff are super friendly and the drinks are good. However, the food is inedible, with much of it being pre-prepared and tailored to the late night drinking audience. Do not come here for the food!

Excellent authentic Japanese food - delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. Nothing over the top, just want you need and want.

One of the only places in this city to have Motsunabe available (only available during the winter months), but have to make a reservation to be able to order it. Their tebasaki wings were also excellent.

I haven’t eaten here, so I can’t speak to the food. However, I was disappointed with the customer service. I came in to ask if I could charge my phone for just two minutes. I was in a difficult situation and urgently needed access to it. I explained that it would only be for a moment and that I would leave immediately afterward.

I was told twice, “Sorry, for customers only.” I might understand this policy during a busy rush, but there was only one table occupied at the time.

I’m not placing blame on the server, as I don’t know where these rules come from. Still, the way I was treated in a moment when I genuinely needed brief assistance felt disheartening. I’ve worked as a server for five years, and I can’t imagine turning someone away over something so small, especially when it would cost nothing to help.

Because of this experience, I don’t feel inclined to return and try the food. In situations like this, I believe showing basic humanity should come before strict business policy.

Drink was awesome. I had the maple miso latte and it was interesting. Imo the waffle is a bit dry to finish. A bit more sauces to go with the fried chicken might be ideal.

The space is small so expect a wait time especially during the weekend.

It is my first time here. I ordered just one item. I just eat and left. No extra time or no extra service I took there. So during payment I did not add tips. But the young girl said why you did not like food. I said yes it’s ok then she said because you did not paid tips, you didn’t like the food with stone face. I got surprised. Really for me food is not bad and not wow. I asked is it mandatory, she said no. Then I said ok if you want me to pay tips then I will pay it. Then she gave me the machine with $3 something and I paid. I found this funny and surprising how people are doing bussiness. I am already paying for food and tax then they should not force their costumer to pay tips again. I work close by and I will chose not to go again there. Thank you!

stumbled upon this on a Tuesday night. Felt like I was in the middle of Tokyo. A very chill and calm environment. The highballs are good.

Food is not bad but the service is indifferent, chatting with customer at bar and didn’t serve us. Letting us waiting for the ochazuke and yakisoba for more than 45 mins
