Food is not bad but the service is indifferent, chatting with customer at bar and didn’t serve us. Letting us waiting for the ochazuke and yakisoba for more than 45 mins

Cozy, chill vibes. Food was A+. Everything was tasty, but I really enjoyed the Saba Miso and the ohitashi. Top notch, great flavours.
The yakisoba was filling and hit the spot.
Drinks were well made as well.

Sampo Snack Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and friendly team make you feel right at home. The menu strikes the perfect balance between comfort and creativity—every dish is packed with bold flavors, thoughtful presentation, and top-quality ingredients.

The cocktails are just as impressive—well-crafted, balanced, and refreshingly inventive. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, a casual night out, or a late-night hang, Sampo hits the mark every time. It’s clear the team puts genuine care into everything they do.

A must-visit spot that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem in Toronto, late night food option that seems to be operated by a family. Loved our visit, can’t wait to visit again when we are in Toronto again!

Small menu in a small space.

I guess about 5-8 tables? Are there. A reservation seems necessary because of the size of this place.

Menu was small. You have to order at the time of reservation if you want the nabe. So we couldn’t have it.

Food was delicious.

This spot is all about small shareable plates while listening to some fun Japanese city pop. Loved the tea-based highballs, and the matcha ice cream.

Food is great. However, terrible service wise. One server is very eager to take the plates away sometimes without asking if you finished, another server is very arrogant

A hidden gem Izakaya with a cozy and intimate space! Food is tapas style - small plates and bites with a variety of cold and hot dishes. All the food was high quality and made with care. Some of my go tos are the liver, pork cheek, and yakisoba. One of my favourite spots!
