A wide variety of delicious bar dishes and drinks available till late at night. So if you're starving and everything else is closed, this is a perfect spot to finish up the night in a lively and fun, authentic Japanese atmosphere.
Also note that this location hosts two business; Bar Sampo (@sampo_toronto) in the evenings, and Ohiru Cafe in the mornings and afternoons, for delicious breakfasts and brunches.
On the menu:
• Ohitashi: Japanese blanched greens with savory sauce
• Beef Tataki: Seared beef, onion, pea shoots, fried onion and home made ponzu sauce
• Grilled curry: Tomato rice, melted cheese.
• Gomaae Duo: Blanched green bean & rapini with black and white sesame sauce
• Karaage: Japanese fried chicken with aonori seaweed
• Tsukemono (Japanese pickles)

I’m a big time business man who comes to Toronto for serious business. I also have one of the greatest palates of all time.I come here every time I’m in Toronto. The food is fantastic; the service is attentive and warm; the atmosphere reminds small restaurants I’ve frequented during my trips to the Land of the Rising Sun.Highly recommend.

Great Japanese food, and the owners are from Nagoya so definitely try the tebasaki wings. Get a lot of them.

Came here to celebrate Valentine's day and was very disappointed in the service. We ordered the surf and turf valentines day special which consisted of the wagyu and lobster sashimi. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food! We asked the waitress twice about our order and they kept saying to wait. The worst part of all this was then when the food finally came out, other tables who came later than us, got there food before we finally got ours. I usually love to eat at this restaurant and am hoping it was only a one-time bad experience.
