We dined at SARA last week, and were extremely impressed with the amazing service, food, and atmosphere. The chopped salad was one of the best salads I've ever had!
Had a lovely meal at Sara, the food was delicious and creative, service was excellent. Benji did a wonderful job taking care of us, attentive and quick service by the whole team. Great vibe in the dining room, cozy and stylish.
Will definitely be back!

Was here last month for a celebration dinner for my partner. We did the tasting menu and were absolutely blown away.
There were things I loved, things I liked and nothing I wouldn’t get again.
We started with a Brazilian bread amuse bush that was a bite of wonder
Tuna tartare was just a bit too tangy but was still yummy
The shrimp was a delight
The drinks were refreshing
I could go on and on but you get the gist. We had an amazing experience, will definitely be going back!

Incredible tasting menu, good drinks, haven't tried the cocktails but the beers and wines were excellent, Wagyu Reuben and NY Striploin steak frites are the highlight, steak 11/10, fries were actually meh, but didn't take away from everything else being amazing

Came here for my birthday on a Saturday evening and we had their tasting menu.
Food was okay. We liked the ikura latkes and the tuna tartare on the potato chips the most with the mix of textures and flavors. I thought the steak was pretty well cooked but my husband thought it was on par with The Keg. The wagyu reuben was very tender but my husband also thought it was just on par with Sumilicious. The focaccia for the reuben was too crunchy for my taste. My mouth was all broken after 😔 We were disappointed with the shoe string fries and felt the brussel sprouts were very overcooked. The brussel sprouts were on the verge of being burnt and the shoe string fries were so fried that not a fluff of potato could be tasted. It just tasted oily. The salad was interesting and I enjoyed that. I felt the profiterole choux was too moist and the salted caramel filling felt too dense.
Portions were very reasonable. We both left very full.
Service was excellent though. Very friendly and not overly intrusive.
Pricing is very reasonable.
Overall, not overly impressive but also would not say it's bad.
There's a public parking lot close to the restaurant but with pretty limited spots. We ended up parking at the Waterworks Food Hall parkade for $15.

Had the best experience at SARA. My friends and I came for my birthday dinner and sat on the main floor at the table by the window. We had such a great time, the food was immaculate, we ordered everything except 3 things on the menu and everything was insanely delicious. Benji, the GM was so sweet and made such a special effort to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. He even brought me the dessert I was thinking about (and had briefly mentioned earlier) even when we all decided we were too full for dessert. He even included a sparkler on it for us to sing happy birthday! Best service I’ve had in a very long time. Does not compare to other restaurants in the city.

Great interior aesthetic and service. The tasting menu was very good and pretty reasonable value. Cocktails were solid. Extremely pleasantly surprised for a King west restaurant
Took my wife here a few weeks ago to have dinner for her birthday and to get a feel for the space as I'm photographing two weddings there in 2025. Beautiful space, really intimate for weddings and the food was fantastic!

Got to try the tasting menu at SARA per their recommendation. It was a great meal and actually quite good value for what we felt we got. Very solid dishes all around, and the space is also beautiful.

We came here to try their 7-course tasting menu on a Wednesday ($65/person). The regular tasting menu is $95/person on other nights.
The staff are very friendly and responsive; we got to try some of the cocktails the bartender had been creating, before they appeared on the menu. And they were AMAZING!
Our 7-course meal included Ikura Latke, Chopped Salad, Wgyu Reuben, Brussel Sprouts, Fried Chicken and Shrimp . We ended one a sweet note with Profiteroles (cream puffs with salted caramel, pecan and dulce de leche). Everything was fresh and tasted amazing.

I recently tried the $89 tasting menu at SARA and had a great experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the servers took the time to explain each dish. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts—hands down the best I've had. The drinks were also excellent, especially the espresso martini. Overall, a fantastic meal and definitely worth a visit!

For $89, Sara’s tasting menu is a true find in Toronto, particularly for those who appreciate seafood bites. It offers a dining experience that balances quality with accessibility, all within a relaxed, stylish setting. For non-seafood lovers, there are a few meat (wagyu Ruben and NY striploin) and vegetable-based dishes peppered throughout the tasting menu, though the emphasis remains firmly on the ocean’s bounty. While the portions are refined, the pacing of the meal ensures diners leave satisfied, not stuffed.
Despite the fine-dining caliber of the food, the atmosphere is refreshingly unpretentious. The staff maintain a warm, welcoming tone throughout, making diners feel at ease. In line with the restaurant’s name, the décor at Sara is understated yet elegant. The minimalist design features clean lines, neutral tones, and soft lighting, allowing the food to take center stage.
With its Michelin Guide nod, it’s clear Sara has made its mark on the city’s food scene - one well-deserved.

We went to SARA to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The enviroment and vibe is super cute ( it looks like a cave inside). The service was also amazing. We all opted for the tasting menu ( 89$) and it was a magical experience. One of our friends is pescatarian and another one is Gluten sensitive. It was impressive to see each dish for those two was made with their dietary restrictions in mind, while we got to enjoy all the dishes. We got Theo and Espresso Martinis for drinks and they were really good too. The tasting menu started with the cheese bread . Then we had IKURA LATKES and Tuna tartare. The next items were hamachi sashimi and the chopped salad. The salad was phenomenal. I think we all agreed that the salad was in fact the best salad we ever had. We next tried the Reuben sandwich and green beans. I really liked how crispy the bread was on the Reuben sandwich. We then tried the eggplant which was also really good and the scallop tempura. The NY striploin and the sea bass were brought together with Brussels sprouts. The steak was out of this world delicious!!! If I were to return to this restaurant for only one dish it will likely be the steak. The sea bass was delicious too. Everything we tried was perfectly seasoned and so delicious. The dessert was also really tasty. Overall a great experience. I will definitely visit again. Their sister restaurant RASA is also equally good and you should check it out if you haven’t already :)
Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options both for the tasting menu and for the regular one.
Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate all kinds of dietary restrictions.
