Friend suggested we try this restaurant. The service was not consistent - waiter came promptly, took our wine order, then shared the specials, and didn’t even give us a moment to order the burrata, then served other tables for 15 minutes before we could order our app. My Nebbiolo was served from the bottom of the bottle with all sediment, and they did provide a few extra ounces in its stead.
The other awkward aspect was that the staff served us a happy anniversary soufflé and right away we said we didn’t order it and then they realized it was for the other table behind us…. Poor delivery and the other couple noticed 🤦🏽♂️
Food wise, the 10oz strip loin came out medium rare as I requested but I bit into something crunchy mid way… they also served it with a rosemary stalk that was charred. The Keg has a better quality steak at a better value. The onion rings were decent but way too much batter that you can’t taste the onion. My friend ordered the masala short ribs and she enjoyed it and it came with a rice/broccoli dish.
The value for food and drink was way off. Maybe this was a good restaurant at some point but I didn’t see it.

What an amazing dinner! We started with a couple smoked manhattans, smoked tableside before oysters, which were so fresh and tasty. For the mains, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak that was tender and full of rich, savory notes, while my wife enjoyed the foie gras and Dover sole. The foie gras was delicious with the chocolate and pear. The Dover sole was expertly prepared with a light, delicate texture. Our server, Sarah was attentive and thoughtful, and the vibe was cool and inviting. We can't wait to return to try more from this menu!

OUTSTANDING! The whole experience last night from start to finish! ????? •Beautiful resto, wonderful knowledgeable wait staff, the food was delicious ~ seasonal young greens salad w: apple…white miso black cod w: Dungeness crab ravioli; USDA prime New York steak w: rosemary butter, and a side of fab mushrooms….and then the Grand marnier Chocolate soufflé ?…. And then to the kitchen to give Sash our personal thanks for a truly lovely meal and evening! ?? THANK YOU to everyone at SASH! ??

Lovely restaurant for a special occasion. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Service was excellent, everyone was very attentive. The owner is one of the chefs in the kitchen.
I don't understand why more people don't know about this place, it's a true gem, great food, great service & ambience. I wish the restaurant's marketing team would do better to show Toronto residents they have a gem of a restaurant that is worth every penny for a nice evening out!
From the moment I walked in, the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The table staff were also very friendly and super attentive! My friend and I ordered oysters to start. Very fresh and so sweet. Then we both enjoyed the expertly crafted beef tartare. It comes with an egg at dinner, but not at lunch. The chef said if we wanted the egg next time, to just ask for it. We will most definitely go back again!

An amazing restaurant. 10 out of 10!!!! The owner sat down with my friend and I and it was wonderful to speak to him. We will be coming back. The waiter Kabir was outstanding. I would make one recommendation and that would be to enforce a minimum dress code. There was a guy two tables away from us with shorts and he had a conference call with other people at his table which was quite inappropriate and also quite loud which was a distraction. But minus this incident the experience was great!!!!
