All the items are somewhat expensive. Wanted to try their Sundae and their machine is not working since a month.

Received a rock solid fudge brownie that was asked for while my wife was in the hospital. I get some things might not be so lucrative or desirable however don't charge me $5 for a smaller than average brownie that is ALSO a rock and no longer a brownie.

Worst customer services ever, manager is the most aggressive person I ever met

People like her should not be leaders or work in front of the public

Just arrived at second cup .. door was open and the cashier refused to service saying the store is closed. It's common courtesy to provide customer service, specially no one was behind ne. I drove 20 mins to get here .. very disappointed. Not coming back here again. It would have taken her 2 mins ....

Very friendly and kind customer service. Some of these recent reviews are nonsense as the ladies serving you drinks, pastries, and snacks are extremely kind and friendly. I tried the matcha here and it was absolutely delicious! Would highly reccome grabbing a beverage or food item from here while you're at sunnybrook!

Their customer service is trash. Their prices are high for no reason. After ordering some food and coffee I asked the guy for a small hot cup of water and this waste of space greedy punk charged me $1 for it lol.

Went there around 3pm to get some coffee and hot chocolate for my family. The Asian women wearing glasses, behind the counter was so rude and condescending and when I asked "I'm not sure why you're acting rude to me?", she goes "Go get your drinks over there" and points me to another employee making the drinks. Not sure why someone like that is working a customer service job. My orders were simple, so again, not sure why the attitude. But she was all smiles giving free cookies to a Filipino hospital staff, who went all the way to the side of the counter, specifically called her over and asked for a couple of cookies for free. The whole thing about how she acted just irked me.

The worst customer service. I wish I could give zero for service. These people behind the counter have no manners. They messed up my order twice and had to ask for it to get it right. Too bad their customer service ruined otherwise would be a great Second Cup Cafe with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee at this location in Sunnybrook hospital

If you’re desperate for caffeine, this works in a pinch. The coffee is borderline repulsive, and rather expensive at that too. At the very least it was quick and the pastries are pretty good (though they won’t heat them up for you)

The Asian male clerk on the night shift was extremely rude. Around 2 a.m., I went to order coffee, but there was no clerk at the counter, and three other customers were already waiting to place their orders. After a few minutes, the clerk appeared and started taking orders from the waiting customers in a brusque and hurried manner, as if he were serving free meals at a soup kitchen. When it was finally my turn, I ordered a decaf black coffee and waited in front of the register. He quickly poured the coffee into a cup, placed it on the counter without the lid, and started entering the order into the register. I politely asked him to put the lid on the cup. At that, he responded loudly, in a rude and unfriendly tone, saying, "I'm ringing you up right now!" before finally putting the lid on and handing the cup to me. I felt quite embarrassed, but I took the cup and quickly left the place. I had only stopped by to get some coffee to relieve my fatigue after staying up all night caring for my son in the hospital. However, his rude attitude and words left me feeling more hurt than anything. I understand the difficulties of working a night shift, and I don’t expect excessive friendliness from him, but I didn’t expect such rudeness either. It was an extremely unpleasant experience.

I used to love second cup for a nice coffee at Mt Sinai - but the lady at the counter was quit unfriendly and the coffee was bitter and not worth the 3.10 it cost. They have to do your créame and sugar and when I wasn’t happy how it was made they seemed annoyed to add more cream. That doesn’t really matter. It was that the coffee was bad and tasted old and bitter/burnt.

I wasn't surprised to see a 3.7 rating. Myself and a lady behind me and two men infront of me were at the first register and not being served. It wasn't busy and there were three people on staff. A short black haired haired Asian woman then opens the second register and calls over the two men. The line up then moves to the second register. She serves the men and then closes the register and asks the rest of us to go and line up at register one, which now has a long line up. Needless to say we all left without making a purchase. After I pointed how inconsiderate and unprofessional she was she starts yelling at the top of her voice for us to come back. I don't think so. Not now, not ever. Even 3.7 is too good for this place.
