I love Shaker’s Club. The vibe and aesthetic are always on point. Classic tiny Toronto bar with good food, good music, great cocktails and overall good vibes. Went in recently with some girlfriends for cocktails after not being here for about a year, and it continues to keep the same energy. They’re also sister stores to Hanmoto and Seoul Shakers, two of my favourite restaurants in Toronto.

Service can be terrible, especially on a busy night.
Vibe is cool and retro.
Prawn rolls are great. The surf and turf tartare is surprisingly large, but has far too much pickled daikon, which overpowers the delicate flavour and texture of a good tartare.
The nori bread, baked by a local bakery on Bloor is legendary though. A must buy.
The food is ultimately not as memorable as other similar spots like Hanmoto or Seoul Shaker.

Food was petty okay. Liked the roast beef and taste of the galbi mandu but definitely small portions. Got there I guess on a busy friday night but took 1 hour just to get anything for our food order. The servers werent really entertaining us and just dismisses us when we followed up.

Shaker’s never seems to disappoint. The music and atmosphere are always on point. The food definitely keeps up, and the service was quick and friendly. No complaints at all. Highly recommend this spot!
Come the the character, stay for the food! Tartare nori style with a plate of fries will satisfy your snack cravings. Paired with any of their drinks makes for a pleasant adult combo. For those with a richer palette, their pate will have you feeling more than your worth.
