Uncle Sid’s might be the best deli in the city! Montreal smoked meat sandwiches are always perfect, fries are crispy and bountiful, coleslaw is tangy perfection and the gravy is the definition of classic diner gravy. Pickles are uniquely savory and crunchy too.Other delis charge almost lot more for a lot less in both quality and quantity - don’t be fooled by Uncle Sid’s fair prices because it’s the real deal, top quality.
I wanted to try something new for dinner the other day, and Uncle Sid's stood out. I ordered the Roast Beef Combo on SkipTheDishes for $17.25. I got the sandwich with an onion bun and the latkes as the side. I had actually never had potato latkes before and these were DELICIOUS! The sandwich was a good size, the roast beef was moist and the coleslaw was yummy as well.
