Got the Philly sandwich and it was decent, lots of meat and fresh bread but didn’t have as much flavour as I would’ve liked. The fries were also fine.

Small place, minimal seating. Staff seemed friendly, not the place to go if you’re looking for a chat.Smoked meat was tender, flavourful, clean bites.Reuben had nice thin pastrami slices, a little dry…

Uncle Sid’s might be the best deli in the city! Montreal smoked meat sandwiches are always perfect, fries are crispy and bountiful, coleslaw is tangy perfection and the gravy is the definition of classic diner gravy. Pickles are uniquely savory and crunchy too.Other delis charge almost lot more for a lot less in both quality and quantity - don’t be fooled by Uncle Sid’s fair prices because it’s the real deal, top quality.

I wanted to try something new for dinner the other day, and Uncle Sid's stood out. I ordered the Roast Beef Combo on SkipTheDishes for $17.25. I got the sandwich with an onion bun and the latkes as the side. I had actually never had potato latkes before and these were DELICIOUS! The sandwich was a good size, the roast beef was moist and the coleslaw was yummy as well. I added extra mustard myself, but I like my sandwiches VERY saucy, so that's just a me thing.I hope to try something else soon!

Ordered a BLT and fries. Sandwich is great. Fries are so crispy and tasty. I wish I could upload an audio clip so you can hear what I’m hearing when I bite my fry. Thanks Uncle Sid’s

This is the best deli in Toronto.Pastrami Rueben is my go to and it’s always perfect, I would easy everyday if I could. Awesome latkes and Turkey as well. This is a true old school sandwich spot.

Brisket Dinner is very good, fair portions. Reasonable pricing, very friendly and fast service. Coleslaw is a bit vinegary for my personal taste but nice and fresh. The food tastes great, and there’s take home items as well. Large Mason jars of Soups and pickles.

Had the pastrami Reuben, perfectly balanced sandwich with perfectly toasted bread. Great sandwich spot!

Tried the 3 eggs breakfast with Sausage and potatoes. Nothing fancy but it does the job.Asked for soft scrambled eggs - The chef did justice to my request.Sausages were slightly salty but crisp. Will be trying out their sandwiches next time.

I had the smoked meat sandwich . it was ok . not the best I had , but still good for the price and it was on my way . the place looked really clean . I would probably stop by there again.
