We ordered an assortment of dishes at Shinyi, starting with the Soup Dumplings and Rainbow Dumplings. The Soup Dumplings were great, especially with the chili oil on the table, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the Rainbow Dumplings. We also had the Stir-Fried Noodles with Shrimp and the Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin. The noodles didn’t have much flavor, but the beef was solid—especially after we asked for it spicy, which they happily accommodated. Service was great, and while the food was just okay overall, I’d come back to try a few other dishes next time.

I really enjoy the steamed dumplings and the pan fried pork, highly recommended if you are craving Chinese food. Servers were also friendly and kind, overall great experience.

food is great but you should get there at least 4h before closing, otherwise they will say it’s just take out or kick you out. if you’re not good with being uncomfortable or helping them to clean tables, go there for lunch. food is 10/10 when it’s not a completely different thing than you ordered. they 100% should at least try to be better because the food is good, but that’s all. thanks to the chef, for the rest I have not much to say

editing my review because every time I try something from my take out, it gets worse. at this point just say you close at 19h and don’t feel like doing anything after that.

Food is good, the service is always terrible. Never seen lazier staff members - just awful. Forced us to get takeout at 9:20 because they allegedly don't close at 10:00 pm on a Tuesday. Avoid at all costs.

we stopped in for a snack today! nice little place, very clean and cosy.

the fried bao （生煎包）were mid, i think the dough might have been a little undercooked because it was a little sticky. we also tried the osmanthus soup sticky rice balls (桂花汤圆） and it tasted like sugar water. for what it’s worth, the rice balls still tasted pretty good, just no osmanthus flavour lol

I had hot pot there it was absolutely delicious! Loved the atmosphere and the service was top tier will definitely recommend if you want smth affordable and tasty in a restaurant with good ambiance !

The food was so delicious!! Loved their dumplings which were steamed and pan fried. But my favorite was lotus root and jicama stir fry! Was so good!! 😋😋
