Booked a reservation on Open Table for my husband birthday, and wow were we ever pleased! Everything about this restaurant was perfect. I would highly suggest this restaurant to all my family and friends. We will definitely be returning.

Had a reservation on a Saturday night early (5pm) to eat at Sorrel. we were looking forward to a very nice family meal and time, since we had not eaten there in a while. What a disappointment. Service was a mixed bag of disorganization and neglect. Table had so many glasses that we could barely place anything else. Waiter then promptly spilled a glass of water. It happens; but the reason why this is mentioned, is that later on we then had to beg for another glass of wine, which never arrived. What ultimately soured the evening, was the fact that we were explicitly rushed to finish our dinner, despite the early arrival and high food cost. Shame as the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is generally quite good. At this price point, there are many other options.

Sorrel continues to be one of the finest restaurants in Toronto - but for slightly different reasons than you might expect. The service is impeccable, comfortable, professional, and their many years of experience has led to an aesthetic which is highly polished. Seemingly at odds with this exceptional level of service and hugely impressive menu and food quality is the equally comfortable and relaxed, almost familial aesthetic that envelopes you as you enter Sorrel. This fine restaurant is not full of private equity players, but instead families, business people, neighbours and friends all who have come together to enjoy a meal and fellowship in a restaurant that makes you feel like you are home.  It's hard not to give Sorrel a simple 10/10. It's one of the city's finest finds.

A delightful and delicious culinary experience at Sorrel last weekend. My hubby booked us a table for Valentine's, post event since its too busy to go on a weeknight. The food was very fresh and well seasoned. I only found the veal to be a bit dry and flat in taste but everything else was wonderful. I especially like the sea bass; it was so soft and perfectly seasoned. We highly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this restaurant to others!

Consistently good food and service, in particular fantastic seafood dishes including Dover sole. While not cheap in general, at $2 a pop the oysters offer excellent value. Looking forward to my next visit.

This was our first time dining here and start to finish we were so impressed. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The food is next level. We started with the calamari to share. Definitely recommend. I enjoyed the cod special which was outstanding. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli and it was stuffed full of lobster. Also a definite try. We had the bread pudding for dessert which did not disappoint. Definitely coming back.

We had a lovely evening at Sorrel Rosedale. The staff were warm and welcoming and eager to please . My partner ordered Boulabaise and said it was delicious. I ordered veal scallopini and it came with linguine and green beans. The linguine and scallopini was bland & needed more herbs and spice. I think I should have ordered the lobster ravioli.
Consistently excellent experience at Sorrel! From the warm ambiance to the delectable dishes, this place never disappoints. Impeccable service and a menu that hits all the right notes. A must-visit for those who appreciate culinary perfection! ??

Well, what to say? Absolutely superb evening. Great table, menu is excellent. Steak Tartare is generous and spiced at whatever degree you ask. Veal Chop, on the bone was superb, cooked to perfection, as was the liver that my wife and two others at the table ordered. Simply cannot fault anything. Outstanding service from Barry, and as I requested one of his tables was pleasantly surprised that they managed to arrange it. I am happy to take his wine suggestions and yet again he got it spot on. Thank you Carl, Sarah and Barry for a wonderful evening. Heading back to the UK so will be back at Sorrel in May.
