Soulas Modern Greek Cuisine

Over the years, my wife and I have tried most of the Greek restaurants along Danforth Ave. with mostly positive experiences. Our meal at Soulas however, can only be described as possibly the WORST Greek food we have ever had (including fast-food Greek meals at shopping centre food courts). The appetizers were spoiled and completely inedible, the calamari was cold and greasy, and the chicken souvlaki was tasteless and undercooked. I can only imagine that the positive reviews here must be fake, as no-one could possibly find the food at this place in any way acceptable. The owners of this dump should be ashamed of themselves for passing this garbage off as acceptable.

I’ve been here a few times and unfortunately I have never been seated on time for a reservation.

Their front waiting area is also extremely cramped, which is unfortunate given that they’re always running late. The host is also extremely rude. I would not recommend coming here at all; there are plenty of better options down the street.

The food was amazing! Best Greek food I ever had. The pita bread was melt in your mouth. The meat was big and juicy! The potatoes was so flavourful that my hubby ate that up first!

Many, many thanks to the staff of Soulas for accommodating 23 people last Sunday when I had originally made a reservation for a much smaller number. Everyone was happy with their meals, portions and service. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful evening!!!

This was a fabulous experience in every way. We were greeted warmly by our server, Agapios, and he continued to be a gem throughout our dinner service. We started with the calamari that was lightly floured and very flavourful. We ordered the feta and spinach stuffed chicken breast, the shrimp, and the gyros dinner and each of these was also delicious. My shrimp dish was a wee bit delayed (worth the wait and not an issue) and Agapios brought a complimentary salad to the table for me, as an apology while I waited for my meal. This experience was well worth the trek in yesterday's snow. We will definitely be back.

Went for my friends birthday and the service was fantastic. The food was really good and very filling. We also loved the bread that they gave us to start off. The staff were also nice and they gave us some birthday shots as well

Food is not good here. It does not taste like quality Greek food. Especially the salad, which was mostly lettuce and barely had feta on it. The rice tasted very old.
