We made a reservation and it was confirmed for the morning. Once we got there we were immediately refused and told there wouldn't be any space for us. The hostess told us to go to the lobby and try to get compensation since she had a big party of 25? But there were a lot of open tables and there wasn't even 25 people. Once we went to the front desk we had to wait another 5 minutes to be helped just for them to tell us they couldn't do anything. They recommended us to go somewhere else, and when asked about compensation he said there is none because we didn't spend any money and we would be giving our money to someone else. We stayed at the hotel. But regardless, it wasn't about the money, it was about the bad planning, bad management and the inconvenience. Also it was so cold, it's right next to the hotel entrance.

Went to Stages before a show at Massey Hall. It was extremely cold because it was in the lobby of the Pantages hotel with people coming and going outside. We had to leave our coats on during the whole meal. Our meal was edible but not great. The bill was over $200. We did not get value for money. It was so cold that they offered a free dessert. The cheesecake came out moldy. Our server was excellent, that was our only positive.

Slow service. It was breakfast right when they open and it took over 40 minutes to get our food. There were 4 tables including us and two waiters...ridiculously slow. Food was ok

Stopped in for a glass of wine before attending a concert nearby and the atmosphere was lovely and so were the bartenders! The two male bartenders had a gentle and polite demeanour, they’re great at what they do! Prices are reasonable too.

The service here is very attentive. The dishes have very small “sides”. That's the only big let down. The food is good but the veggies aside the chicken cutlet is three stalked of asparagus and about 1/4 of a potato. Both very well done but I like more veggies with my meals that that. My daughter said they have the best fish and chips of anywhere.

Dropped in after a show at Massey Hall for a cocktail, which were well made by friendly staff. Lots of seating, which makes sense as this is an evolved hotel lobby setting. Limited bar snacks menu but V and GF options available. Staff were attentive and this was a nice option to wind down after the show.

Our wonderful waiter elevated the experience. A few of us had fish and chips and they were great. It was perfect pre theatre dining.

Food arrived quickly, and prepared as requested. Excellence place to eat before going to the Mirvish Theater. It's a little difficult to find, since address is 200, but you have to enter in 210.

Proximity to the Ed Mirvish theatre makes this restaurant a great choice for a pre-theatre dinner. The number of tables is surprisingly small but the menu offers a number of good food choices. We were very happy with our choices. I had the Pacific Salmon which while not a large serving was delicious. The salmon was served on a bed of bok choy, oyster mushrooms and snap peas. The tastes were beautifully melded and provided strong interest to the meal. Another of our group had the Fish and Chips and the third the Chicken Schnitzel - both described their meals as very enjoyable. There is not a lot of ambiance to the restaurant but the quality of food is really good.

First time trying this restaurant prior to seeing a show. First of all, the waiter was very pleasant and he seemed to be the only person working at the restaurant. He was cognizant of the time and he ensured that we received our bill in a timely manner. The food was mediocre. I started with the fried dill pickles. Two of them presented as soft, with the coating missing on one side. I tried the polenta…it was ok but didn’t really have any solid, identifiable flavour. For the main, I chose the burger. It was fine…a bit on the messy side. I liked the fries. They were nice and hot, with spice on them. We didn’t opt for dessert. Pros: close to the theatre, you can make a reservation, very good service. Cons: Menu is a bit limited, food doesn’t have the wow factor, the gender shared washroom needed cleaning really badly. Would I return? Chances are 60% no…sad to say.

Richard our serveur was amazing but the food selection was almost all deep fried. Tempora vegetables were with a shake and bake batter. The same with my chicken schnitzel really dried My husband ordered the salmon who was overcooked. I m sure that if they have a different menu with nice choices of meal this place will be really amazing. My friend ordered a salad but they didn't have any protein like chicken breast really simple. We were disappointed because we like the location of the restaurant the ambiance was nice and beside the Mervis theatre. Even if we didn't like our meal we were all talking are great Richard was.

Our server was exceptionally polite and attentive. We had someone with allergies and both the kitchen and server were very accommodating. Food was very good and piping hot. Nice quiet spot to fine before a show.

Service by the bartender and waiter was excellent as was the food and cocktails. Nice choice of things to eat and the atmosphere is classy with a piano for music on some nights. Great place to eat before the theatre. A+++
