My partner and I visited for a midweek brunch - boy has it gone downhill. We ordered their signature chicken and waffles - the chicken was SO dry I couldn’t eat it. I wish the server would have checked in on our table so I could have provided this feedback, however didn’t once ask how the food was (also wasn’t busy at all). When we were paying, I let the server know the chicken was dry and inedible but she started smiling and nodded her head….. we still paid full price and tipped. Won’t ever be returning.

My family of 20+ descended on this wonderful establishment on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but they made accommodations to get us all in there for an amazing meal. Food was excellent; coffee is fabulous; servers were unphased by the busy-ness and made it an amazing 50th birthday celebration. Thankyou !!

Great restaurant with delicious breakfast options and good service. I went recently twice and noticed the tap water for the tables smelled really bad and tasted off as well. Not sure what happened but I couldn't drink it.
Excellent waffles and menu options.
Great food. Amazing presentation

This was my third time visiting this location and at this point, it's my favourite breakfast spot. The staff are friendly and fast, the food is absolutely delicious (perfect poached eggs, omg!), the establishment is clean with a cozy atmosphere and the prices are pretty reasonable. Today I had the 'Sammy Benny' and we also split a blueberry dessert waffle - they did not disappoint! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful way to start your day by coming to this place! Our group came for brunch on a Saturday and enjoyed the superb service, delicious food and great coffee. Bonus points for having plenty of parking because they are situated in a small mall and we didn’t need to wait for a table!

We love meeting up at the starving artist for brunch with pals, they're good about accommodating gluten-free and dairy-free

I tried Starving Artist for brunch and really enjoyed it! The waffle was crispy and fluffy, and the fried chicken was juicy with a nice seasoning. The combo of sweet and savory worked perfectly together. The portion was just right enough to leave me full but not overly heavy. It’s a great comfort food option if you’re craving something satisfying for brunch. Definitely would come here again!
This is my family's favorite breakfast/brunch spot. Everything I've tried on the menu is fantastic. Whether you like sweet or savory or both, Starving Artist has what you need. They also have the best service, they are always so happy and friendly. Bring this place your business, you deserve the treat and they deserve the money.
I first encountered Starving Artist, several months ago while looking for something to eat. I was impressed by the food and friendly service, and said to myself that I would return again when I was in the area. Well! Today, was that day! The staff today were extremely accommodating and supported my unique order I'm allergic to bananas - of a scrumptious dessert waffle -along with a delicious cup of coffee. Thanks SA!
very nice, food was great and the restaurant wasn’t overwhelming and definitely recommend. One thing is that we at not busy hours, so that might change someone’s experience.
