Very good value for the price! Their lunch AYCE is reasonably priced and good quality for what you pay for. Even the al la carte menu had really good prices and large quantities of food, their combos especially. I was also impressed with their large selection of torched sushi. The manager was super nice as well and attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

The food took forever to come out, even though the place was nearly empty. The food was very mediocre and not worth the wait. The 6 piece rolls were packed full of rice and not a lot of protein. By the time the food finally came out plate by plate, my appetite was gone. Worst mistake I've made in a long time coming here, but considering what a dumpster Kyoto House had become, this was the only other all you can eat sushi place in the area. Our sashimi late arrived last, and the presentation was like a no frills version of "Japanese" food with water all over the plate. Don't waste your time coming here.

It’s a bit funny. I walked in at four o’clock and told the clerk that I wanted to eat AYCE. The clerk said ok and asked me to fill in the AYCE menu. After their sushi bar chef read my order, he changed his mind and said that there was no AYCE before 5 o’clock and kicked me out of the restaurant. First of all, I didn’t order a lot of food when I placed the order. Secondly, boss, you are afraid that customers will eat ayce and you will lose money, so don’t order ayce. Finally, since you can’t make ayce before five o’clock, you can tell me clearly. There is no need to tell me this rule after I finish writing the order. The store is not big, but you and the clerk chased me away after watching me place an order for AYCE. Is there a reasonable explanation for this? In addition, there is another sushi restaurant a few dozen meters east with good taste and attentive service. I was really shocked by the boss's cool behavior.

Not only was the food over priced they tried to give me something cheaper than what I ordered. And when I asked for my proper order they said they wouldn't replace it until I told them I wouldn't pay for it would they replace it and give me the proper food item apologizing and saying the chef made a mistake. The service was rude and cold and the food was tasteless. Don't waste your time and money.

My friend and I sat for 1.5 hours waiting for food, had to get it to go because we were late for work. They gave us 1 box instead of 2. Atmosphere is awkward because everyone is mad at waiting for so long. Food was "meh" - certainly not worth it.

This is one of my favourite lunch spots downtown! Sushi & Bento have a great lunch special - two rolls plus soup and salad for $12. Friendly staff, quick service for pick-up, and overall efficient ordering. The rolls are very tasty, large than expected, and all very fresh.
I work in one of the buildings across the street and order at least once a week, sometimes twice. I hope they never change!
