Such a special spot! Really love this bakery. Heads up, it is cash only. I passed by to grab a few things to take to my parents house. Picked up a lemon loaf and a couple of cinnamon buns. The owner kindly threw in an extra cinnamon bun, which was greatly appreciated. Definitely pass by if you’re in the area and support the local bakeries!

When I walked by this bakery and saw the sign outside saying: Toronto’s Best Cinnamon Buns I had to try one! First I marvelled at the baked goodies in the store window and how I loved the vintage, timeless feeling.
Inside it was like stepping into a time machine back in time with the old-fashion vibes, decor and baked goods. We were greeted warmly by Helen and I got my cinnamon roll and butter tart. She said they’ve been around for 50 years! The roll and tart were very delicious! Pure love and comfort food! And I really loved Helen’s kindness and happy energy. Highly recommend you check them out!

Helen makes the best cookies - not too sweet, just flavourful. And the peach tart was delicious - again, not overly sweet, just tasty. AND everything is nut and peanut free - crucial for me.

We saw the pies in the window and had to try them! They were delicious and we will come back to try more. The staff were super sweet and helpful when we needed to find a bank machine. Don’t forgot to take out some cash when you visit as they’re cash only:)
This bakery is truly a hidden gem. It is very hard to find peanut and tree nut free bakeries. Their selection was still pretty when I went towards the end of the day. Helen the wonderful lady who helped us suggested a cinnamon bun and it was delicious. We also had a raspberry pie. Everything here is affordable and well priced. Remember to bring cash as it is cash only.

The ladies there are so nice! I came in at the last minute needing a birthday cake. They were able to bake one fresh for me to pickup on the same day. And they even gave me a cinnamon roll to have with my coffee.
