This was my first time visiting this place for dinner, and it will definitely be my last. When we walked in, the restaurant was completely empty and it took us a while to even locate the cashier desk, which was all the way in the back. We planned to dine in, and the first lady who helped us was polite and welcoming. However, that was the only positive part of the visit. Shortly after placing our order, we changed our minds and decided to take the food to go. The same lady told us it was no problem. But a few minutes later, another employee came over and spoke to us in an extremely rude, loud, and unprofessional manner, telling us that if we wanted takeout, we should have ordered at the counter and not while seated. It was unnecessary, embarrassing, and completely uncalled for. The food itself was just as disappointing as the service. The fries were clearly reheated, soggy, and had no taste at all. Overall, the food was not worth a cent, especially paired with such disrespectful behaviour. This place seriously needs to train their employees on basic customer service or hire people who actually understand how to treat customers with respect. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Thanks for ruining my birthday. Me and my boyfriend went to Swiss chalet to celebrate my birthday. I ordered poutine and spring rolls. The spring rolls arrived approx. 6-8 minutes after my poutine I could smell something was off I took a bite and they weren’t fresh they taste rotten, how can you serve rotten chicken? This location was one of my favourite not anymore. We left with a bitter taste.

The most negative customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. June 2 was BOGO quarter chicken with CAA and so I tried calling this location MULTIPLE times and was being put on a loop with the machine saying no one to answer. I tried the take out option and they couldn’t help me because they were trained for “online orders only”. I wanted to verify BOGO with store and see if they did reservations. I ended up dealing with customer service on the Swiss chalet website and they said this location should be a participating location. So when I show up to find it is closed, I couldn’t believe how horrible the information provided was - why was the messaging on the phone indicating this rather than putting me in a loop thinking I could get a hold of someone - google did not have any update hours - IG did not have anything posted - customer service from the website did not indicate this
When I emailed the store about this experience all they said was that they were closed and nothing to help rectify this lack of customer service experience or notice that could have been provided. Could not even acknowledge how frustrating this would be.
Disappointing with how many ways you can notify customers about disruptions now and the lack of regard they have when people make an effort to support a business and it is not valued
Wonderful place on a Saturday afternoon, sunny or cloudy. They are great staff. It can be slow because there is one employee on. BUT that is ok with me as I want to relax. Having more than one server is not justified. I hope people understand this when going in there. 😎

I just went today for the Thanksgiving dinner. Food was very good, and the service was excellent. I have been going to this location many years. ILDA was my server I always ask for her She is warm and friendly and the service is excellent ?. For me the food is always more enjoyable with a good server ?
