Everything was perfect. The food was top notch. One of the best Chinese food experiences I have had in a long time.

So glad I found this place! It’s the perfect spot to satisfy a craving for Halal food from Western China. Great daily specials, good portions, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. Always a solid choice for a filling lunch or dinner

Overcharged stating that the menu pricing is old. Barely received any service. And was then forced to tip extra after the server wasn't happy with the tip I chose. While the food was decent, the service makes this a Never Again for me.

Food was meh. Salty and hard to swallow. Brought it to the waiters attention, but she ignored it.
We should have just ate uptown.

You don’t come here for fancy atmosphere or great service, it’s an old school Chinese restaurant serving up authentic Cantonese food. Be pleasant and polite and place your order. The waiters are more than happy to assist. We ordered a bunch of dishes for our party of 9 and left very full with leftovers to take home. Each dish came out fast, hot and deliciously fragrant. Standouts were the deep fried egg tofu in salt and chili pepper, deep fried squid in garlic pepper, fried prawn in GG sauce, pork & eggplant, Singapore rice
noodles, fried pork chop, and beef fried noodles. It can get noisy from other patrons speaking loudly, but this is Chinatown! Great value, our bill came to $222 for 9 people (no drinks). Complimentary house soup and dessert on weekends. 9/10.

Pathetic service, the server literally askendme to pay a tip for a $14 purchase, I told her I was not aware that tips are necessary, she asked me to not come back again.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Extremely disappointing. I visited about 3 weeks ago with my friend. From the start, the service was unfriendly and inattentive. No one checked in on us, asked how the food was, or made us feel welcome. We literally had to ask for water for the table. It just felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. I don’t know if they were being racist, but there was another East Asian family sitting across from us and they were treated so nicely, so it just didn’t sit right with me.
The food didn’t make up for it either. The chow mein came out extremely crunchy and didn’t taste good at all. I literally had to drench it in chili oil just to get even a bit of flavor. The shrimp was mediocre at best. Overall, very underwhelming.
I usually tip based on how good the service is, and this was an unpleasant experience. I tried to select $0 on the machine, but it wasn’t working, and I ended up tipping anyway.
I told myself I wanted to try new places in Toronto, but this was not it. I definitely will not be returning.

Food was quite nice but we had a bad service experience. My wife had a large piece of metal from a wire brush that she chewed on that was in our Singapore noodle dish.
When it was brought up with the server, the response was very disingenuous and he blamed the kitchen staff for being too busy. They also forgot an order plate and another plate was delivered incorrectly. They didn’t charge us for the plate with the metal but this could have had serious repercussions.
No one should be using wire brushes on food preparation any more and at least show a little more concern please.

Don't get me wrong on this one, food and price were good, but it's quite dirty and they forgot some of our items but it's your typical greasy chinese food:) which i love
