There are plenty of great Italian spots, avoid this one at all cost.

This place is horrible, the server was extremely rude and the food was subpar. Don’t waste your time.

Delicious Italian food. All pasta, gnocchi and pizza is made from scratch in-house, and they offer a good variety of dishes, appetizers and drinks. The service is excellent and the ambiance is welcoming, cozy and very intimate.

I am looking forward to another dining experience at Tav's. On a very busy Friday evening we were still accorded impeccable service and attention. I was impressed that the staff were able to make some seating changes to accommodate a group of five. The pizzas baked in a real wood burning oven were amongst the best I've ever tasted and there are so many unique pizza options. From our seating we had a direct view of the open kitchen and oven and EVERY dish looked incredibly delicious and presented. Our server and manager were congenial and we engaged in a great conversations. It's one of those places that still serves and refills water to guests. It is small and intimate and the most importantly for me, I did not feel rushed. Thanks to everyone at Tav's!

Went for my boyfriends birthday food was absolutely AMAZING. Definitely the best authentic Italian is the city. Get the gnocchi and a pizza you won't regret it. Even gave us tiramisu for free for his birthday.

The more I eat and the more I talk about what I eat the more I realize how subjective the food experience truly is. The baked mozzarella gnocchi was so soupy the sauce didn't even stick to the noodles, it was just like watered tomato soup with hUGE gnocchi, also the marinara pizza was dry it needed to be dipped in the pasta sauce lol..... I felt sick 10 mins into eating here, now also take into account I was very hungover today, but I really wanted to go to taverniti, they were full and someone told us that Tav's is owned by the same people. Next time taverniti is full I'll find somewhere else.

Haven't been here in several months only because we have been out of town and just have not had the occasion but so happy we found the time tonight and enjoyed the pesto gnocchi and the gnocchi Sorrento, great food options, and always personal family style service, this place is such a dependable go to restaurant for the best fresh gnocchi in the city!

Fantastic and cosy place for some great pizza. We had the classic bruschetta which was amazing, their caprese salad was very good too. We had their Margarita pizza which was just perfect, it hit the spot, we also had their Napoletana, which was a little salty (as expected) because it had the anchovies on it but it really good. Their Sottobosco (gnocchi) was very creamy and tasted really good! Their Italian ice tea was decent as well. The service was very good and there is street parking and a Green P lot close-by. Thanks!

The pizzas were very good. The waiter was very nice. But the seats are really not comfy. And we could feel the air coming from the patio so it was really cold in there.

The food was consistently delicious, no complaints there. However, our visit hit a few bumps. Despite having a reservation, our seating situation wasn't ideal. We were initially placed at a table for four, squeezed in as a group of five. Later, we were moved outside, where a lively gathering nearby made conversation a challenge. To make matters worse, the heater outside was acting up, leaving us a bit chilly. Unfortunately, our evening was cut short due to the noise and discomfort. It would have been great if the staff had been more proactive in addressing these issues.
