OMG!! Found this place by accident driving home to Toronto from cottage country. It’s worth getting off the highway and driving to Innisfil Beach Road for a fun atmosphere and delicious Mexican food. It was a quiet Wednesday evening but the music, colours, food and charm won us over!

Absolutely obsessed! We had the steak tacos, ceviche, and chimichangas—all insanely good and bursting with authentic flavor. The vibe inside is so fun and colorful, like a mini escape to Mexico—perfect stop after a sunny beach day.

Service was good, but not exceeding, the atmosphere standard, and the food was mostly good. The beef that came with the Barbacoa was delicious and juicy. The soup was too greasy, but perhaps that's how it's meant to be.

This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant. The first time, I had the enchiladas and they were very good. This time I ordered tacos and I was surprised that they didn't have ground beef tacos, only pork, shrimp, chicken or sausage. We started with the nachos, which was served with enchilada sauce instead of salsa, but it worked. Then I had the shredded chicken tacos, which turned out to be chunks of chicken breast - not shredded - on soft, soggy tacos. The first one I lifted up fell right through the taco. It was supposed to be served with tomato sauce but all I saw was one thin slice of tomato peel in one of the tacos. It was so dry, I could barely swallow it. We mentioned it to one of the servers and she offered to replace my meal and brought me the menu again. She never came back though and my friend finished eating his dinner. When the bill came it included the food I'd returned and when we mentioned it they did remove it from the bill. On the way out I passed the server who had said she would come back to take my order and I was a bit sarcastic when I said "Thanks a lot for coming back", and her reply was "Sorry about that." I left, not impressed with either the food or the service.
My friends and I had a great time at Tenoch Restaurant. If you’re craving some tasty Mexican food and good vibes, this is where you should head.
The Michelada con Camerones is very refreshing and balanced, and the tajin rim is chef's kiss. Garnished with plump, juicy shrimp, you can't go wrong. They give you some complimentary tortilla chips with salsa. They have a verde salsa, which is midly spicy, a red salsa which is a little hotter and a very nice habanero salsa that tickles your tongue and has you coming back for more.
We really enjoyed the Cochinita tacos. The achiote flavour absolutely slaps, and the roasted pork shoulder was very juicy. You can order tacos 3x or 5x same variety. I'd like to see an option to mix and match or order singles.
We had a recommendation from our wonderful server Paola to try the chicharon. She definitely knows her menu as this was the star of the show. The porkbelly comes beautifully braised and is a must try.
The Camerones Rancheros was tasty as well. Tasty shrimp, perfectly fluffed and seasoned rice, a very nice Pico de Gallo, delicious corn tortila, and some refreshing salad all come together to make a delectable plate.
All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The vibe and atmosphere had us really enjoying our night. Service was on point, and we were very well taken care of.
You gotta check this place out!

Good food but very slow service. By the time the last person at our table got his meal most of the rest of us were finished.

Terrific enchiladas. My girlfriend's parents are Mexican and were delighted with the tacos and Michelladas. Most authentic Mexican flavours I've had in Toronto

Absolutely disgusting tacos. They tasted bland and I can make them way better at home. What made it really bad was 2 minutes after I left and was walking home I began throwing up non stop. I hope I don’t have food poisoning from that awful beef steak in the tacos. Place should be shut down.
This place is legit. The horchata and tamarindo drinks were great! The fajitas are perfect to share and came out sizzling. We'll definitely be back!

Bad experience. We waited 30 min at tenoch never even got a menu, there was only one girl who was very slow, and taking forever for whatever reason. We had to get up and leave: parking paid, hungry and time waisted. Dont come here if your hungry. We went to another mexican spot west of dufferin and st clair and in 2 min everything was ordered. So ya not recommended.

We had a great meal at Tenoch. Restaraunt had a fun atmosphere and all the food was delicious. I'm not usually a big fan of corn tortillas but I really enjoyed how they prepared them here. Everything was really well seasoned and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back.
