An intimate but casual atmosphere with very friendly and helpful servers, great selection of beer and cocktails (not generally a wine drinker, so while they do have wine, I can't speak to their list), and food leagues better than you might expect from a relatively small bar.
They also have amazing weekend brunch that is 100% worth checking out.
Good for meals, snacks, and/or drinks. Their rear patio is A+ in summer, also.

Tried out The Three Speed on a busy Saturday evening. They’re a casual neighbourhood bar. The back patio was full but spots opened up.
- Smoking gun ($17.00) and pilsner ($9.00)
- Brisket + mac ($20.00) - brisket was slightly overcooked, mac and salad were decent
- Sirloin burger ($16.00) - subbed for a gluten free bun ($2.00 extra). Bun was a touch crumbly but the handmade patty was tender
3.5 stars.
Three speed is one of those rare gems in the city that is consistently reliable in all categories and yet incredibly easy going non pretentious. Great food, drink and friendly service. 10/10
Make sure to ask Mark for a muddy caeser!!

Took 25 minutes to get a drink, and the bar tender was taking shots while's we waited.
Attended The Three Speed for the first time this weekend and it was awesome! Great atmosphere, cozy back patio and the food was excellent.. The crispy chicken thigh w Man& Cheese were cooked perfectly and full of flavour, will definitely be going back for this dish!! Also, the food & drinks are extremely reasonably priced, best value I’ve come across in the city in a while!

Crispy Chicken + Mac, and Beef dip were both great. Nice patio at the back of the restaurant.
Salad could be more fresh though and washrooms are Halloween style! with lots of graffiti.
We will be back and thanks for the food.

My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times and it is always great! Even when it’s busy, the drinks, food, as well as the welcoming service are amazing!!! Everyone is always very kind!!! I always love getting the chicken with the Mac and cheese, and my boyfriend is a big fan of the kitchen plate!!! The vibes are also just great whether you sit inside or outside on the patio!!! We’ve been here for our first date, his birthday, my birthday, our anniversary… so just know…. This bar is so great it keeps us together… lol

I have a feeling the staff (esp Jamie, Simon, and Mark) already know how much I love this place but doesn't hurt to have an official record.
