Came for the Nikke collab. They have the postcards and drink sleeves, as well as the codes for pulls. Drinks flavours are ok; preference is the yogurt lychee one. The other one is pretty fruity tasting and has activated charcoal in it. Be careful drinking the charcoal one if you’re taking medication.
Edit: also got the hero aca drinks. Both are very solid!

Found some paper in my tapioca :(. I have been going to this place for some time because there are nice vibes. However, today I ordered milk tea and as I was chewing the tapioca I felt something really hard and not like tapioca. I found paper. I am very disappointed because it’s a cute place.

I tried Crunchy Strawberry milk tea, and while the drink was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect, I was disappointed with the service. Since it was my first visit, I needed more information about drinks.

The atmosphere is really good, nice place to get some work done. The drinks are very high quality and taste amazing. The staff are kind and welcoming. Heads up, the seats get filled up fast and you dont always get the chance to sit and work.
Like other Alley franchises, the quality remains up there, and service is quick. There are some seats available inside and outside. The washroom is available. Wifi and some wall sockets.

I would not recommend this The Alley location to my worst enemy. Why you may ask? Because of their lack of accommodation towards allergies. I just came to this location, ordered a Crunch Tiramisu drink, after ordering I realised that the drink included tapioca balls (they had not made the drink yet). I asked if they could remove the tapioca balls and the girl said no it’s a set menu, I said “okay but I can’t have tapioca.” She said she will talk to the manager. The manager comes and says the same nonsense “we cannot modify anything in the drink because it’s a set recipe” I said again “okay, even for allergies you can’t?” He repeats the same thing “we are not allowed to change anything in the drink.” I then asked “if this is the standard, what logic is applied to the sugar and ice modifications you guys ask for every drink? Is that not also changing the recipe of the drink? I don’t mind if the drink is less because of no tapioca, I just can’t have it.” To which he responded “No that’s different and we’re not allowed” I then asked “if you take the tapioca out will you get fired?” To which he said no and remained silent. I requested a refund and left.
I’ve been to The Alley on Bloor multiple times and they have never had an issue with me requesting for the tapioca to be removed. Highly disappointed and baffled at the sheer lack of accommodation to health concerns here. If I could give a 0 star I would.
