The food makes up for the overcrowded, loud environment. The Tapioca dumpling has a chewy texture as explained in its name and the seasoning is a little on the sweet side like Hakka style. The side cilantro, mint and cabbage well balances the heavy seasoning. The crispy rice salad has a good amount of sourness and the freeze dried pieces is a nice replacement of the harder wok pieces. Phenomenal, very authentic Lao food. These folks don’t miss - every dish I tried was excellent. The ambience is pretty great as well, and it’s surprisingly affordable for this quality.Tapioca balls are a must.
