Purchased a chicken pot pie this evening for my family. It was by far the worst chicken pot pie we have ever had. It was primarily peas and green beans. Barely a piece of chicken in it.

In my humble yet educated opinion (18 years celiac ) this is the best bakery I have ever eaten at. Great options for the dairy free and vegan eaters as well. From the ease of ordering 2 loaves of olive bread to the warm friendly atmosphere at the store my experience was perfect. I walked in expecting bread and left with so many sweet and savoury treats. Great little store for products as well. If you’re in the area for work or for a holiday and have special food needs this is the place to check out .

I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and came into town for The Era's Tour. I discovered The Bread Essentials on TikTok and knew as someone who is GF I had to stop. It was such a pleasant experience and I can't say enough nice things about Josie the owner. She was extremely knowledgable about every thing, recommended products, and even packed up all my frozen items to bring back to Pittsburgh. It was truly such an enjoyable experience.
