My overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The food was priced fair and was very good and timely. The service the great, the minute our drinks were empty they were at our table ready to keep the drinks flowing. Jerica was a wonderful server, she was friendly and funny. Would recommend to our friends.
We went for a pre show food/drinks for a group of 16 at 5 pm. They were accommodating in proving space together, allowing separate bills and fast service. Happy hour until 6 pm was a bonus. I have had better oysters but still a treat. My husband enjoyed the brisket. Would go back again!
Everything we tried was delicious, personal favorite was the Piri piri chicken and Mac and cheese! Will be back.
Meat platter was great - wish we had just got that as we ordered the prix fixe and it was too much food!
Everything was so great! the Burnt Ends Kimchi Ssam was freaking amazing. Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly as well (wish I remembered her name...). The cocktails were also delicious and creative. They had a really good range of flavor profiles
Booked out the private upstairs space for a work function. The communication leading up to the event was great - super responsive and accomodating. The service, day of the event, was also top notch. And the food portions were huge! There were leftovers for everyone to take home. The room also came with a TV (so we were able to have the game on) and sound system so we could control the music. Overall, very much recommend Carbon Bar.

If you have food allergies, avoid this restaurant. I informed the waiter before ordering that I have a food allergy and the need to make sure the kitchen checks the ingredients in sauces and rubs. He made note of it in his electronic device but didn't communicate directly with the kitchen staff. They didn't notice the note. I had an allergic reaction and had to pump myself with double dose of meds at the restaurant.
Got an apology from the waiter saying he shared with the kitchen in his notes.
Spent the rest of the weekend with apuffed up face from the reaction.
I don't blame the staff, ot seems they aren't properly trained and this could have been very serious.

The Carbon Bar was a great choice for a date night out. My only caution is that the portion size for the Pitmaster Platter is huge! If ordering for two people, be sure to be very hungry and avoid appetizers. Service was lovely and staff were great.
Great place! We ordered a 4 course meal that came with a platter of meat. Too much food for 2 people though, we will have leftovers of the next 2 days. Price -quantity- quality 5/5

I’ve been to The Carbon Bar before, but many moons ago so returning the other night felt like the first time.
We caught happy hour just in time so took advantage and tried their brisket slider, pulled pork slider and grilled shrimp. The pulled pork slider was really good, very juicy and tender, same with the shrimp. The brisket slider was pretty dry, definitely disappointing there.
We also ordered a side of their mac n’ cheese, the hamachi and the Spanish octopus.
I love mac n’ cheese and always on the hunt for the best one - was this the best one? No. But it was good. The cheese was nicely melted with a baked top. The only critique is the macaroni could have been cooked a minute to two longer. It was a bit undercooked.
The hamachi was pretty good, but I’d say nothing super special. The octopus was very tender, the dish was well seasoned and the eggplant and olives were a really good compliment.
We did have 2 interesting things happen during our dining experience there - the first one we received a beef tartare which we didn’t order but the manager came over right away to take it away. The second thing was when we were waiting for our main, the server set down the settings for another main (likely for the protein platter with bottles of sauces), which we also didn’t order. Definitely not a problem, just interesting that it happened twice.
I would come back to try their other items in their menu next time.

Second time here and just as great as the first time! We did the Full Experience Menu again. The food is absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared and presented, and the quantity is generous. The ambiance in this restaurant is upscale and modern yet casual—the service is top-notch. Highly recommended! We will be back!
Oysters and shrimp skewers were great!

Ribs were drier than I liked. Tasty, with a good smoked flavour. Brisket was good. Service and ambience were great.
