Been ordering take out for several years now, food has always been very good. Recently (especially tonite), the chicken pieces were the usual tasty but have gotten much smaller (1/2 size some pieces), and no pickles were included. Also ordered the side of beans and pulled pork, which the container was 3/4 full and the sauce was similar to an inexpensive can of beans. Bright side: fries still very good and the mustard sauce is 10x better than the previous one which was heavy on the vinegar.
UPDATE: restaurant ownership was quick to respond and address our concerns. Very pleased and to hear from them so quickly and will definitely try again.

Normally order from here for special occasions but the last time it took over 2 hours for the food to arrive from Ubereats and it was cold. The food is always good but of course it's not good when it arrives cold. I've been in contact with management who said to write a review and were very apologetic. I understand this is moreso an Uber problem than the restaurant as the other times I've ordered it arrived in a timely manner.

We came here on our first night in Toronto and it set the tone for the food scene! We went all in with only meat options and we did not regret it! Big portions (perfectly cooked and juicy), fast service and nice vibe. We would go back again if we had the time.
Came for happy hour with a few colleagues after work. Friendly and efficient staff, great food, great drink selection and great atmosphere. I'd definitely return.

Service was ok, even when they are not busy they seem to be very keen to get you in and out quickly. Clearing the table when people were still eating.
The food was all cooked amazing. Bridget was tender, sausage was very flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The shrimp were fantastic. I was rather disappointed in the sauces. Didn't use them much as they were not really enjoyable.
This is my 3rd visit to carbon bar, and prb my last. I would have had rave reviews until my visit yesterday which was the first in several years -the food came out luke warm, after waiting 45 min. The mac and cheese took another 15 after that. -All the meat had an overwhelming smoke taste, to the point it overtook the flavor of the meat. The brisket was a little chewy on the ends, the fried chicken was good, not great. Mac and cheese was delicious. -I had a glass of sangria, delicious but half full and that includes the mountain of ice. It was $17. -the server was pretty joyless but efficient. We did sit for a significant amount of time with no water. Moral of the story, carbon bar is not what it once was in my opinion.
