Horrible service - the food was stale and when I told the server, they were super rude. Beware of this place!

The bartender with the beard was extremely rude and displayed discriminatory behaviour. He didn’t know how to make the drink I ordered, became argumentative, and responded with a smirk, saying, ‘Sweetie, I’m not having a conversation with you. I’ll make you whatever.’ He also told me I wasn’t listening to him. As a person of colour, I found his tone and behaviour deeply disrespectful and unsettling. I would strongly caution others before visiting this bar.

We are regulars at this place, coming for years. Spending money when the bar is empty or packed. We never have an issue getting into the place until recently. The last three times we have come, we were told from the security at the front door that there were at capacity, even when we say we will wait till someone leaves, we are told no you can’t come in. It feels like it’s discriminatory or even racist. It’s sad cause we have been coming for years with no issues. Great service and great DJ. But all of a sudden been treated like we’re not good enough.

Beautiful bar, great vibes. Went there recently for a friends concert and loved the place. The rest of bands were also great.

I went to this place and it was a real gems as I got properly served by them and I was served by the Manager Lee who helped me in everything from beginning to end and then I would recommend everyone to be there at least once, basically it’s worth the penny.

I heard the live music from down the street so I had to check it out. Cute place with friendly service and decent prices. The guitarist had great charisma and a wonderful voice, hopefully he's back soon!

I was in this place with my fiance a few weeks ago, and it was a total disaster. The food was meh, and then later in the night, a massive fight broke out between these drunken idiots, and the bouncers, the bartenders, and I think one of the owners had to get involved... also whoever the main guy was didn't even attempt to deescalate the situation, and made it even worse more than anything. Total nightmare, and completely ruined the evening.

We never leave reviews on anything, but something had to be said about this place. We live in the area and usually go to either the Pinkerton or Poor Romeo on the same block.. both places are fantastic. Better food and drinks, and the staff are amazing. We decided to try something new. Bad mistake. Avoid at all costs!

Thanks to Phil and his team for throwing the best kid-friendly Christmas party. We ventured over from the Annex and the journey was worth it. Big kudos to Santa and his giant elf were great with the kids. Good food and drinks.

When I saw it was a xmas themed for December, I knew I wanted to have my bday celebration there. First off, they told me I had a table for 12 (I reserved days ahead), and they sat us at a table for 6. So my friends and I had to crowd around. Secondly, the bar turned into a "club" once 11pm hit and they turned their seating area into a "dance floor". The dj (who sucked btw) stopped playing xmas music and turned the volume up so loud, I couldn't hear the person next to me. Thirdly, because y'all wanted your bar to be a club, we had middle aged drunk women dancing up our backs. When I asked them for space, they verbally berated me about how "if you don't like dancing then don't come to a dance club". Which I didn't know The Dive Shop was! I've been many times before and this was the first time it's ever been like a "club". I reserved a table so my friends and I could *sit down* and enjoy a few drinks for my birthday. Stop trying to be something you're not.

Went here with some friends on a Saturday night and the vibes were great!

Got a bit hungry, got the parm fries and they were heavenly. Some friends also tried the fried brie and I almost cried with how good it was. We'll be back here again soon, especially on Wednesday for trivia night!
