My partner and I had a lovely experience with the Food Dudes team for our October 2023 wedding. They helped tweak our menu and created customized items that added a beautiful, personalized and nostalgic touch to the whole experience. Every guest raved about how they kept going back for more deliciousness throughout the night. We received the best price, the best food and importantly experienced advice to make our dream meal a reality. A skilled delivery of cocktail hour snacks, table charcuterie, buffet and dessert station (with great selection and attentiveness to guest allergies and sensitivities) was noticed and celebrated. I'm still thinking about that tenderloin... They also helped us out with feeding our wedding party while we were getting ready for the day AND the serving team was well coordinated and professional. Special thanks to Jason for his coordination of the day. What more can I say? A+!

We were in a pinch, and Anna Matreninskaya and the whole team at Food Dudes stepped in at the 11th hour to save the day!Seriously, to know Anna, is to love her. She is truly one of the best people I have ever met. She is so efficient, organized and she gets the job DONE. From the tasting to the actual event, everything they did for us was beyond what we could have ever imagined. The plating, the flavours, and the care with which they prepared everything was unlike anything we've had at other weddings. We worked with Shivaan, who was so kind, patient, and flexible with us, especially when we had to put planning on hold due to an emergency. Working with the Food Dudes catering team was amazing! Having been to many events catered by them we knew that we wanted them. The food was delicious and the staff was very responsive ( a number of our guests even commented how quick they were to remove any empty dishes and glasses left by the guests). It all made for a perfect evening enjoyed by everyone.Working with Anna during the planning process was great, we had many false starts due to pandemic delays but Anna remained responsive and most helpful ( really appreciated it too as ours was a smaller event compared to many others taking place in and around the same time). They were very flexible with the catering packages too so we were able to bring in some of our favourites directly (like the desserts from Katie Bakes and charcuterie from the cheese boutique!) in addition to what they would offer. Anna even managed to customize the drink selection to accommodate my request to have a natural wine option ❤️The venue itself (Clay Restaurant) was one of their own venues so planing out the logistics was easy. We were able to come in and do our setup and coordinating the deliveries was simple. The biggest challenge was the piano delivery timing which they helped with so that it could come in and stay while the restaurant was open earlier.All in all the whole experience was most enjoyable and will forever hold a fond spot for the Food Dudes team for making the day one to remember! She paid attention to all of the details and executed cocktail hour, dinner service and late night eats flawlessly.Aside from the amazing service leading up to the wedding, I would say that the food is just as good, or maybe even better! The beef filet was delicious! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the dinner. They also have very good vegetarian options as well!I would 100% recommend Food Dudes if you are looking for event catering.
