Service was great! Food was mediocre at best and EXPENSIVE! $90 for a salad and breakfast plate with sparkling water.
Went for breakfast. Pancakes were very good. Service was ok. Prices were a bit on the high side for basic items.
I feel the menu was a bit minimal. Not really worth the prices as I feel they are a bit pricy for the worth. My turkey club was not appetizing. Would not return or recommend. Service was decent but could have been better.
The Fortunate Fox is a great restaurant: beautiful atmosphere, great food, and fantastic service, all at a convenient location. I will be back soon.
Great food, great friends, great service. When back the next morning for breakfast and lunch!
Had such a fun time. Our server Sophia made our night! Love her energy!! Coming back for sure.

We dined at Fortunate Fox for 5 days during our stay at the Kimpton St George for breakfast , lunch, dinner, and drinks. The servers were nice and clearly working hard (not many staff on), providing friendly and attentive service.
That said, the portions were really tiny across the board. For example, during fifteen dollar Taco Tuesdays, we received three very small tacos with very little filling. Salads priced over twenty five dollars were also small and came without any protein, which was disappointing.
Since we prepaid for breakfast at the Kimpton, we hoped for better value, but the breakfast portions were also very small. One day we got two pieces of toast and a larger serving of the same potatoes, and the next day only one toast with noticeably fewer of the same potatoes. It felt like we were treated more like free voucher holders rather than paying guests, which was frustrating given the cost.
There was also confusion about what the breakfast voucher included. The voucher itself said ANY one breakfast item, but the restaurant said it excluded two items, including the steak.
Overall, while the service was good, the small portions and inconsistent food quality make it hard to justify paying extra for breakfast or meals here. I hope the restaurant improves portion sizes and clarity around what is included to better match guest expectations. Don’t think we’ll return until the portion size improves.

Poor service , poor customer response, incorrect bill despite telling manager we were having difficulties with our waitress. Won't go back
First time here, walking distance from Koerner Hall where my friend and I were going after dinner. Female server was excellent but male server ignored my questions, failed to give us plates when we were sharing a salad. Happy hour sangria was yummy and ambiance lovely.
yummy food and drinks

Excellent Venue, with Staffers that are both Friendly and courteous. The convenience of being an integral part of the Kimpton St. George Hotel, is a bonus. Meaning that, My Client (As a Hotel Guest ) was just an elevator ride away from dinner. We will definitely return. Sláinte !
Great ambience and good food. Service was crazy slow but not for everyone. Just our server who ended up disappearing. Would have been better if she just communicated more about why the drinks were so slow (just beers). Other servers seemed to be moving those orders pretty normally. Bt would give it another go. food was good.
Took a very long time to get seated at our table. Despite making a reservation there werent enough place settings at the table (missing cultery and glasses), there was also only one menu for the entire table to share. At one point the server came and took the water on the table despite us still sitting there. Some of the table really enjoyed the food, however the fish and chips was very salty, overall not worth the money.
The restaurants website is misleading. The service was very slow and not that good. The speaker by our table was static. The food was good but the portion sizes were small and it was overpriced.
Steak & eggs fabulous !!
