Decent burger, fries and onion rings taste super frozen. Nothing special. Also, portion is SMALL for the side of fries considering other pub portions in the downtown core. As for the poutine, it reminded me of a McDs poutine, just with more gravy. Pictured: assembled burger and fries+ 2 rings, assembled poutine
Honestly had low expectations for this place going into it since it was in the basement. But I got to say that all changed when I went into it, our server Shane is on his sh!t. Buddy was out here with hawk eyes noticing when we needed a refill or needed service. Hell I didn't even know I needed a refill till he came out of nowhere and asked. Honestly great service and not pesky coming to the table every five minutes. Buddy's got spider sense for when you need something
For those craving for dessert, I would suggest you try this hidden gem desert in th Friar. The sticky toffee pudding in this pub is the best. Try it yourself and let me know the vibe you get.
