I think this place is outstanding! The food was great and the service was friendly. There were two things that could have been better. Firstly, the tables were too close together. It was difficult to get in and out of my seat and I know the people behind me felt the same. There were also tables pushed together with different parties and the tables were at different heights. It feels weird when a different group is sitting right beside you and above you. Secondly, the music was too loud. We found ourselves almost yelling to have a conversation. If those things were different, this would be a 5-star review. The restaurant would benefit from telling guests there is a maximum time for dining because we had to wait a while to be seated for our reservation. It wasn't a big deal and this didn't factor into my review, but sometimes parties get caught having a good time and that affects the reservations after them. With a set time limit (e.g., 2 hours), it can help staff to give a friendly reminder to diners to wrap things up as a courtesy to others.

The first thing that stands out its the decor, gorgeous. The next thing is the noise, loud. Music is loud, conversations are loud. I could hardly hear my friend. Service was ok. Food was ok. But do not order the ceviche, it is more of a shrimp cocktail than a ceviche. It just tasted like ketchup.

The ceviche is not good. The Brussels sprouts are delicious! The vodka rose rigatoni was excellent and the short ribs were very good. Cocktails on point! It was a Saturday night so we expected some noise but the DJ blared music to the point that we could not hear what each other was saying. We asked to be moved to the other side to the other side of the restaurant- and still it was unbearably loud. Which is too bad because the music itself was great, we love music. Just way too loud.

As someone in the industry, and who hoped to enjoy our time here longer than we did, my first visit was disheartening. Please advise guests of table time limits, especially when the website says 'stay the entire night'. All servers should be aware of dish ingredients, (it's unfortunate that ours wasn't and we were served an ingredient we specifically stated dislike of), and some staff could use refresher on overall service mannerisms.

I went to celebrate my 60th birthday and brought a very large cake in balloons to the restaurant. The staff were more than accommodating to me and my guests by putting my birthday cake in the refrigerator, while we had dinner and they did not rush us while having dinner. The food was delicious and the ambiance was fantastic! I loved the retro music vibes in there and I will definitely come back!

Had a lovely dinner with a friend of mine spend around 400$ and couldn’t even finish my bottle of wine before the hostess told us we had to leave. We were there for about 2.5 hours and the place was not packed. However we were told that our seats were reserved. Not sure I’ll be returning. I guess they time limit on how long you are seated so just be aware ! It’s a shame because we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Visited The Good Son in Toronto yesterday and really enjoyed it. Cozy vibe with dim lights and candles. Great cocktails, amazing wood-fired pizzas, and the burgers were outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the pasta was decent too. Service was great. Overall, a solid spot worth checking out!

Good experience. Booked over the phone for Saturday night, same day and they were still able to accommodate for 4. The hostess was very sweet. It would have been 5 because of the hostess and obviously the food.
The food was great, no complaints. Everything tasted amazing and I can’t forget the sauce that came with the steak.
The drinks were also good, we would have ordered more but it was quite difficult to get ahold of our server. As well, we ordered after 9:50 PM, the hostess then came around right after our order to provide the 10 PM menu where the same drink (the martini) would be discounted. At the end of our dinner, when requested if we’d get the 10 PM menu for the drink, our server told us no because it was before 10, even if it was by a few minutes. We were a bit disappointed, but it was fine because well, we wanted additional drinks during dinner but as mentioned couldn’t get a hold of our server to order additional drinks anyway. Water was not checked on and we then ran out of that.
Clearly, the place is very aesthetic. I was surprised, we were seated beside the DJ and it was loud already, someone went up to him and gestured to turn UP the music. We couldn’t hear ourselves think at that point. Then, when walking to the bathroom, you realize our seat wasn’t even the loudest area, closer to the bathroom it got louder.
Overall, aesthetic place, good price on food and great taste - 5. Servers - 3.

Came here for a date night on a Wednesday to grab their Wednesday special ($14-16 pizza with the purchase of any drink). They also have their Happy Hour from 5-7 PM from Wed to Fri, so we took advantage of both! Food was delicious and portions were very generous. Pizza was delicious and fresh.
