Queen Star is one of the neighbourhoods hidden gems. I'm there for breakfast every weekend I get a chance. Friendly, fast, confusingly inexpensive. I always leave full, happy, and caffeinated.
Want great food, at a great place, served to you by genuinely kind people? This is the place.Don’t get confused - this isn’t your typical Queen Street fancy or glamorous “5 star restaurant, with a 5 star atmosphere.” It is in fact a no-nonsense local eatery, ran by a couple will openly admit that they haven’t renovated since they opened the place in 1999. Small and unassuming. No fancy decorations or showmanship, the food SPEAKS for itself. This keeps the price good and the quality great. I had a big lunch with a side order and a pop and it came to under $20. That's incredible for 2024.
