The restaurant is full of unique visual accents including photos, mirrors, clocks, lanterns, and more which gives it a cozy and mesmerising aesthetic. The volume is moderate, with some music playing and tables close together so you can hear a lot of what is going on around you. The food was delicious, and service was excellent, which is expected from a higher price point restaurant. Definitely recommend the Peruvian braised beef gnocchi, which had the perfectly cooked, juicy and tender beef, and great seasoning. All in all, would definitely come here again for a nice date or celebration, to try their other dishes out.

I had requested a spacious table for 6:45 p.m. However, upon arrival, I observed that the restaurant was relatively empty. Despite this, I was directed to a small table adjacent to the waiter service kiosk, resulting in a noticeable lack of privacy. I ordered a medium rare striploin ($50), but it arrived overcooked to medium-well. The quality of the steak is subpar, exhibiting a rough and dry texture. Additionally, I opted for hand-cut fries for an additional $10. While the presentation in a cute box was notable, the fries were disappointing; many were excessively dried or even burnt, rendering them unappetizing. My friend ordered the short ribs, which were fair as well. The cocktail, "Gun Street Girl," was commendable. As for the service, it was just acceptable.

First time in Toronto and we were going to Queen Elizabeth theater for a concert and found this spot. Really really great experience! Loved the cozy vibe and service and food were great!

Absolutely a must-go place for me!!! It's a cozy but also stylish bar and restaurant. Friendly staffs. The pizza was delicious, and my spouse enjoyed his burger and rated it as one of the top burgers you can have in Toronto!

Food was a mixed bag for me. The burger was average but the pizza and steak tartare were decent.Staff were nice and the drinks were good. The restaurant decor was pretty nice. They did accommodate us with nice seating when we asked which I really appreciated. I would give 4.5 stars if I could cuz of the service. One main issue was that it was super loud in there so we all had to shout at each other when trying to talk. Went there on a Saturday night around 8pm.

I was unfortunately very ill after eating here and after more than 24 hours, the restaurant hasn't responded to me letting them know. I had the mushroom papardelle and I dont think the mushrooms were good. The restaurant was empty but I wasnt able to book an earlier reservation for 2 people which was strange. I did feel a bit rushed and I didnt finish the food as it tasted off. Overall not a great experience. And for $200, I'd expect a better experience for sure.

Never been inside for a sit-down meal, but I've been ordering from this place for a few years now. Consistently good food, with new additions appearing every so often. Great addition to the WQW neighbourhood. The Spicy Sopressata Red Pizza and Brussels Sprouts are my go-tos.

Came in at brunch time, excellent cocktails and service. Food is a bit on the expensive side for what it is but it was certainly tasty.

Great vibes in this place. My friend and I ordered from the brunch menu and everything was delicious. We loved the decor and seating options. It was a comfortable place to hang out and catch up.

I was so incredibly impressed with our service at this location. Our waitress, who I unfortunately do not remember the name of, was impeccable. I had not received service like that since pre pandemic times. Admittedly, the service industry has tanked since 2020 and it is extremely rare to get proper waitstaff service anywhere... not rare here! They were constantly on top of filling our water without us asking, not once did we need to touch our wine bottle as our waitress was attentive in filling our glasses. They served the food and cutlery appropriately and the food was delicious. 5 stars all around. We will be returning!

The food was really very good, particularly the mussels. But the outstanding thing about The Good Son is its staff. They were very friendly, patient and accommodating. The only bothersome thing about the Queen Street location is how loud it was. Perhaps the noise level is better on a weeknight when, presumably, they aren't as busy, but our reservation was for a Saturday night and it was extremely loud.

There are fancier and more creative restaurants in the vicinity, but for delicious elevated pub fare, The Good Son is always a reliable option, and it's a particularly great spot if you're going with a large group.

First time at this location but the restaurant was very obliging even though I was very late to the reservation due to bad traffic. Service was very good and the food was excellent.
