Good drinks on tap
Wow—what an experience! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be served by someone who clearly resents human interaction, this is your place. The bartender must have mistaken the bar for their personal therapy session, because the attitude was flowing faster than the drinks.
Worst experience ever. I walked in with near empty glasses from another brewery nearby because they didn’t have space. Plan was to order beer and pizza here instead. Except I started getting scolded by the rudest staff as I was trying to finish my glass and order pizza/beer. I’m just trying to have a drink and dinner, if you’d give me a second to settle in. Just pure rudeness and aggression. He kept asking if the beer was from there…I kept saying no but I’m here to order and my glasses are almost empty (he almost took them away before noticing they weren’t from the bar). There was no service…I was just trying to sit down and get on with my new orders. Horrible…
Such a fun spot with a great vibe!
Love that they have lots of games you can play with your friends – it really makes the night extra special.
We tried the vodka pizza, and honestly it was amazing!
Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a chill night with good food and good fun.
Great bar to bring the little ones during the early family hours. I highly reccomend the Killer Bee pizza. The spiciness is 90% flavour & 10% heat. If you like sours, the Radenbach Grand on tap at the time. Nice balance that was not so sour that it made me suck my gums like some other sours. The arcade machines are free, pinball is paid. The pool table was closed until later when the kids were gone (I totally understand that, my nephews and other kids were touching & rubbing their hands on the felt)
Really incredible cider options here! Lots of local draughts that are incredible. The atmosphere is also really lovely to stay with friends.
I've been coming for years.
Fresh pizza and fresh beer is a winning combination.
Great Spot. Super friendly bar tenders plenty of beers on tap.
I left a review for the pizza place, but the 2 go together. I had a great time here the other day. Food and drinks were great. Very family friendly before 8pm, and a busy pub after. I'd definitly go back.
A guy named Curtis served me there. He was handsome and smart and cool and funny. I love the beer selection but I especially love not having to go to the dentist.

Delicious beer and pizza with friends
I had a deeply disappointing experience at The Greater Good Pub. One of the servers, whose name I was told might be Eyob, treated my friends and me with extreme disrespect. He swore at us, used offensive language, and even threw items at our table. Without asking, he began clearing our table and aggressively rushed us out, which felt like an attempt to humiliate us. His behavior came across as blatantly unprofessional and, at times discriminatory.
This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, and I hope the management takes immediate action to address this situation. Customers deserve to feel respected and valued, and no one should ever have to experience this type of behavior at any establishment.
A great local. Selection of drinks is huge and the staff are all lovely. Easy to build relationships with them all and they will remember your friendly patronage. A cozy environment that seems like you're in a big cabin and there's a pizza restaurant inside. A beautiful establishment that has become a favorite of mind over the years. Just don't be a dick and you'll be OK here.
Last night's experience at Greater Good was an absolute disaster. From the moment we walked in, the rudeness was palpable. The blonde, tattooed bartender was particularly hostile, rolling her eyes and sighing at our simple drink orders. The short, bearded bartender wasn't much better, treating us with disdain and impatience. It's hard to believe a place could employ such a toxic staff. I've never felt so unwelcome in a bar. I can't recommend this place to anyone who values basic human decency. Which is unfortunate, because it used to be a great place. Goes to show you that friendly staff makes an experience.
We host an annual band night at a local rehearsal studio and it had been a tradition to go to the greater good afterwards. Every time, I rave about what a time we had there, whether it be the service, the playlist or just the atmosphere. I was hoping for the same tonight but the 3 bartenders on staff were very rude, unaccommodating and unpleasant. Because of the staff, a group of 11 left after 1 drink, and we were expecting to be there all night. Unfortunately likely going to blood brothers now. I hope that you revert back it doesn’t sound like the current staff will change.
