While the Pizza at North of Brooklyn (which is located inside the bar) was very good, there were many children here, which we did not expect for a bar. When we looked into this further, we found that there were specific bar hours in which children were not supposed to be there, but this rule was not being enforced whatsoever, and children were running around everywhere. It was very noisy and chaotic, making it difficult to enjoy socializing for most of the time here, until we could move downstairs when another table became available.

Our recent visit to the Greater Good left much to be desired. Despite our group of five struggling to find seating, we were met with rudeness from both the server and bartender. After finally settling at the bar, we were abruptly asked to move due to an alleged service area overlap. Despite pointing out available seating, we were met with dismissiveness and hostility. Attempting to make the best of the situation, we moved to a table, only to encounter further frustration when a friend was forced to return a chair to its original location by the bartender. Being yelled at and treated with such disrespect is unacceptable, especially when we are paying customers. It's regrettable that our experience was tarnished by such poor service, and we have no intention of returning.

Good beer, GREAT pizza, let's go!We had tap beer, it was really good.We also had pizza, North of Brooklyn, so delicious, really hit the spot.We got Pepperoni, Margherita, NY with mushroom. I definitely recommend Pepperoni and NY with mushroom, they're very very good. Also there are games upstairs, pinball, skiball etc, just make sure you bring loonies and toonies and cash along if you wanna play.

Great beers, great service, they have a covered patio, and they have a North of Brooklyn location to order some pizza with your beer. What more could you want?

The "owner" started getting violent. If you want a place to chill, It isn't here.

Difficult to get the bartenders attention since they have their back turned to the customers and are huddled together talking amongst themselves. They do not respond to "hey", "hello", "hi", "excuse me". Perhaps the owner of the establishment should be more involved with the business due to this poor customer service. On a good note...the vibe and food was great and there were many friendly people to talk to.

Although at first this place seemed to have a good vibe, the bartenders’ rudeness drove me and my friend out of there. He would slam his hands on the bar table and yell at people who flagged him to order a drink. I won’t go back there.

Pretty packed on a Friday night. I liked the crowd here, super chill and a fun time. Tried their cheese pizza and it was delicious! I'd love to come by during the afternoon next time.

Video Arcade cabinets. Pinball. Pizza. AMAZING tap AND can selection!I love the big wall explaining what's on tap and that it is numbered. Makes it easy to order when it gets loud, which it does. Geary Ave strip is a great up-and-coming neighbourhood. This place is an amazing add! North Of Brooklyn Pizza is available until LATE(R) so that's always a plus, especially since it is some great pizza!

Had never checked the Geary neighbourhood on a weekday evening, so headed to the Greater Good on a Friday. The after-work crowd had this place hopping, and it stayed that way for the duration of my visit. (Looked like it would stay that way all night). The lineup was steady at North of Brooklyn, which serves up full hot pizzas and fresh slices from ts own counter inside the bar. There were literally 8 people working the tiny pizza area. We had 2 slices of the Killer Bee, which has Italian sausage jalapenos and a hit of honey on it. I missed this from The Get Well location! In fact, the Greater Good feels a lot like The Get Well "north." Similar chill crowd, well-designed interior with lots to look at, friendly servers, fast-flowing beer service, and a huge variety of excellent craft taps. I tried a delicious Town IPA I'd never had before (can't remember the name, but you can't go wrong with Town Brewery). Will be back soon!

Pizza and staff were great from north or Brooklyn. The staff from greater good were the complete opposite! If the pizza wasn’t so good I’d definitely never come back.
