Good portions, down to earth home cooking. Great spot to take non vegans or new vegans!
I got the southern plate - had a hard time choosing because everything sounded good! It did not disappoint. I’ve had many vegan Mac and cheeze and this was one of the best. Definitely want to try to chikn and waffles. Solid portion sizes, cute vibe, plus cocktail options & dessert - what’s not to love?
Friendly place with Southern comfort good classics.
Amazing southern comfort food. Great crisp on the chicken, creamy Mac and Cheese. Great flavours and fast service.
We were only in Toronto a couple of days and were fortunate enough that this was on our path. We stopped by just for a bite to takeaway and had the buffalo wings with dill ranch. They were beautiful! Whilst we were waiting we saw some of the dishes being delivered to dine in customers and they looked fantastic. Huge portions, fabulous choices.
A great place to try out all vegan typical North American foods! The unchickn waffle is to die for as well as their poutine!
My life is split into two chapters: before the un-chicken waffle from here and after. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had, from the food to the staff and everything in between.
First time ordering from The Hogtown vegan We ordered Southern Combo ( Chick'n was basic but the BBQ sauce fixed that. The collard green side is a great addition and Mac & cheese was delicious) Quesadilla with chipotle dip ( mostly black beans not much veggies. Still good and filling) Chili cheez fries good portion I just needed extra heat so I added tobacco to make it spicy ) Over all the food was good and portions were great. Will definitely go back and try the rest of the menu
I got Hogtown vegan delivery and the food did deliver. Delish and hit the spot. Tasty comfort food perfect after a long travel day
Their mac n cheese is amazing! I love their brunch menu’s vegan Egg’s Benedict so much! Their Ruben and fish n chips is great too! Instant classic!

Food incredibly delicious. Tip included in the bill, waitress not happy about it, although her service was very nice! The restaurant is cute too.

Ultra tasty Philly Cheese Sandwich and Chicky Caesar. Rad service and cool vibes!
Food was good, pretty standard fare. It took about 3-4 minutes before someone came out to greet us (we got there on a Sat at 5:45 pm). I didn't like the cheese on the poutine. It looks like Daiya, but I could be wrong. It just doesn't have a creamy mouthfeel like some other vegan cheeses. Lots of options for food and drinks. Server was friendly and helpful.

Food is just honestly underwhelming, esp for the prices. The "steak" tastes exactly like a slab of boiled seitan, then breaded, which I could make easily at home (and I'm no chef). Had to sent it back at the end to be thrown out as I couldn't force myself to eat it, it tasted that rubbery and seitan-y. Collard greens aren't good and take up way too much of the plates. Chicken and waffles were both plain. Mac n Cheese & mashed potatoes are nice though, along with the service.
Have had better incorporated vegan comfort food at other restaurants throughout SW Ontario, much less at a total bill of $80 for 4 dishes.
