Had the feta and asparagus omlette with salad and challa bread. It was a solid brunch item for me as it was not too heavy.

The meal plus the coffee, tax and tip, came to around $30. It's a bit pricey, value for money wise.

And they really need to change the stall doors in the women' washrooms 🙏. Don't know how they are in the men's washroom, but regardless, those stall doors need a serious upgrade.

Ordered the basic breakfast: eggs over easy, crispy bacon, home fries, rye toast. Not sure which herb is overused, tarragon i think, but it pervades everything. Home fries are cut mandolin thin and cooked extra crispy. Bacon was crispy, extra crispy. Rye toast was ultra thin and hard as rocks. 3/5

A restaurant that has been in the same location since 1948 must be doing something right! Only open from 8am to 3pm, serving comfort food with friendly service. No wait during the week, but very busy on weekends although you can usually be seated at the counter right away.

This restaurant has amazing food, wonderful staff and a really good vibe. I often meet up with my oldest daughter for breakfast there on the weekend so we can catch up over wonderful eggs, Benedict and a nice cup of coffee!!

I used to go to The Homeway for many years with my kids and recently went back with friends. I had reccomended it to my friends and they decided to take me for my birthday. It was really disappointing overall. Firstly, it was freezing. There is definitely something wrong with the heat. Secondly, there was a funky smell in the restaurant that I only realized was coming from the basement (I used the bathroom and realized that it was extremely strong downstairs). Also, the cake containers in the window usually contain cakes and they were empty. I was looking forward to their signature banana cake! Finally, the Hallumi that came with our breakfast was so salty. Ultimately, the whole restaurant looked tired and old and that nobody really cares. So sad. I won't go back. I didn't say anything to anyone as I didn't want to make a scene or embarrass my friends but think twice before going!

The Homeway is a charming family-run diner in Toronto with generous portions of delicious classic breakfast and brunch dishes. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and great value make it a neighborhood favorite. Highly recommended!

I had been craving breakfast there, since it Re-opened and my son brought me take out from them a few weeks. ago., variety of fruits Presentation is beautiful and Very generous portions. My stomach is too small for the portions. I probably would've finished it all if it was in Childs' portion.

It's a cozy breakfast spot that serves comforting and classic breakfast items.

The portion is generous and all the dishes feel home made and delicious.

I recommend coming early as the restaurant will be full by 9 am.

A breakfast I still remember a week later. Everything was so fresh, everything tasted amazing. The eggs benedict was superb. Get their bacon.

Mediocre food. Eggs with chorizo were watery, they used regular sausage instead of chorizo. Salsa was tasteless Hamburger under seasoned. Incredibly loud. Huge portions and lots of waste. Host said we’d have a short wait— it was over half an hour. Don’t bother
