Heard a couple of recommendations to go here. Portions were big but the food was mediocre, unfortunately. Our Benny was super soaked in hollandaise sauce. Even the brewed coffee tasted bad. Hope the quality improves as I know this is an old classic diner.
I came with my family, the atmosphere and the food are fantastic, but we didn’t appreciate the behaviour of the server when she realized we didn’t give a high tip, she became very rude and even complained to her coworkers in front of us. We are not rich people and was 5 of us, and we tip what we can, not what the server wants.
Hearty and fresh breakfast food. Not the type of place I'd travel across the city for, but if you live in the neighbourhood or happen to be there, this is an excellent option for a casual brunch.
